"Staff is very friendly and location is great. However, that’s pretty much all the good things I have to say. No one cleaned our room our entire stay even with the room clean sign on the door. No refills of coffee or tea. No change of towels. Our garbage was full. To get to the room there are stairs within the hallways even after you use the elevator to get your bags to your floor. I would recommend telling the hotel if you have mobility issues before arriving so they can get you a room closest to the elevator. The beds are really hard. The parking lot out front is a disaster: very busy and you can only drive one way so if you cannot find a spot you have to drive around the city to get back (which is not their fault. They do not own this lot). But if you want to pay for hotel parking 7.50/day it’s a long walk away and a very tight space to park. There is no loading zone out front. We did not have breakfast in the hotel. Go to Lissajoux across the street for good coffee and pastries."

"Perfectly situated in town, close to everything. The staff was incredibly helpful. They helped me with substituting a pillow and I slept like a dream after that. The breakfast provided is delicious! Highly recommend this place."

"The room was very clean and the area was quiet. We left before breakfast so no rating there. The Château restaurant was not open, perhaps because it is April? However, Ginette Restaurant was open one night and it was quite good. The location is fantastic for the cathedral. It is a bit of a walk to restaurants and shops in town but the walk is beautiful."

"Great location and a really lovely hotel. We stayed in Room 16, which overlooks the courtyard and has a beautiful view of the Citadel of Rocamadour, especially at night when it’s all lit up. Dropping our bags off was very straightforward thanks to the hotel’s drop-off point, and we were lucky enough to find parking on the nearby street. The steps leading back up to the hotel were easy enough to manage. The only slight downside was the pillows, which were a little on the lumpy side. Aside from that, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend it."

"A charming single story hotel in the countryside with views of at least 4 castles from the property. Our room had access to the patio(terasse) where we could sit outside and enjoy the weather. Easy drive to go out for dinner to multiple charming towns and villages. Very friendly and helpful staff, good continental breakfast. We liked it so much we decided to stay 2 extra nights. Good place to base yourself and explore the region."

"sadly restaurant closed on mondays. however sarlat had other opportunities. for peak season would suggest reserving carpark place dogs accepted staff charming and helpful room clean and comfortable "

"Beautiful pool and garden, beautiful quiet location - house was good but old fashioned and required more thorough cleaning and attention to detail on cleaning crockery, checking for bugs in house (cleaning again) and ensuring that all facilities were in good working order which they were not. Heating was broken, dishwasher did not clean properly, no hot water in evening, then internet went down in storm affecting TV, with little to no contact with owner. This house needs TLC as did we so we felt cold, neglected and disappointed with our holiday. Apart from one load of logs for the fire which cheered us up we were pretty much ignored by the owner except when he arrived to check the heating and the plumber tried to fix. But it came on once at 2am then that was it. So very sorry but it was all too frustrating. Better communication is required. "
