「Overall our stay was okay, but there were a few issues. We asked about an early check-in ahead of time and were told that would be fine, but when we arrived the apartment was not ready yet. Parking was also a challenge. Our designated parking spot was taken by someone else, which made things a bit inconvenient. Additionally, the overall cleanliness of the apartment was not the greatest and could definitely use some improvement.」

「We arrived at the townhouse and the bed sheets on every bed were stained and had hair on them. The floors had garbage on the floor. The bathroom curtains had mold and the toilets were dirty. We didn’t take towels since it was listed on there but the ones they had were dirty we had to go buy some. One of the bed was broken and the freezer didn’t work either I communicated all of this to the host and received to no respond. 」

「Extremely noisey. Neighbor below broke down their own door at 1am. Police where called (by another neighbor). Ceilings extremely thin. Neighbor above was banging around until 2am. The second day of my stay, the lock for my apartment randomly stopped working. Luckily I had my phone. After about 30 minutes of trying to get ahold of someone, they were able to fix the issue. They said they're not sure why it happened.」

"Drury might not be a luxury hotel, but it is the most generous and responsible hotel I have ever stayed with. This hotel really complies its aim to create happy customers. In my view, they do it much better than those 4-star and 5-star hotels. Drury offers not only free hot breakfast, but also simple hot dinner (though they called it “snack”). Good coffee is provided at lobby all day. No resort fee. Over night parking is the only extra charge. The parking lot conveniently located to an attached building and is safe. The location is perfect and safe. It locates just next to the aquarium. Staff are friendly and very helpful and they do know how to comply the hotel’s policy (to create happy customers). Our AC in room was out of order at 5AM during hot summer. We were waken up by the heat. We called the front desk, but at that time, they can only sent a big fan up to the room for us, as the maintenance staff would only be available at 8:00. When we checked out, the front desk knew our experience, and told us that they would return what we had paid. They returned the room and parking charges, as well as the deposit right after we checked out. We were impressed with how the hotel's frontline staff handled this issue. We will definitely choose to stay with Drury Hotels. This is the most generous and responsible hotel we ever experienced. They truly care about their customers."
