"Had an all-too-brief one night stay here for business and stayed in one of their standard rooms. The room was perfectly clean and had a great view of the front pool and gardens. The property is set back from the road and very quiet - I had the windows open all night and heard nothing but birds waking me up. The receptionist was very friendly and personally escorted me to my room to ensure I had no trouble getting in with their recently upgraded key system. Wonderful breakfast as well. 10/10...

He gave us great recommendations in places to eat and how best to see Venice. The b&b space was clean and inviting and our room was the same. "The B&B is not far from the train station and within walking distance to the major sights in the city center. When we arrived at the B&B, no one was there to let us in (why I generally prefer a hotel to a B&B), but it was only a minute or two before our host arrived. There is no elevator but she helped us lug our bags up the flight of steps to our room. The room was simple but clean and spacious. "The venice lion residence was absolutely clean and their staff are really nice. A coffee machine located in a relaxed area made us relax to have a better day. If the entrance gate would work properly with electrical remote which it didn't I could suppose five stars hotel in overall. The bedrooms and some of the furnishings were well equipped but unremarkable, but only compared with some others we have stayed at. They were good-- comfortable. "Room was large and it was really clean. Also have great soundproof walls as we barely hear other guests. A large supermarket and McDonalds nearby with around 8 minutes walk, very convenient when we wanted to cook dinner ourselves using the mini kitchen. Also near to Mestre train station with around 10 minutes walk, surrounded by many different hotels and you can feel that the road is safe "

"Was a lovely stay, convient and close to public transport links. Very clean with both air con and heating as needed (which we did- the nights get cold in April). Staff were really pleasant and funny and overall everything was great value :)"
