Its name takes its inspiration from the street in which it is located: Corso Garibaldi, known to all as "lu càssaru", a Sicilian dialect term of Arabic origins which identifies the most elegant and representative street of the city. The area still remains the beating heart of the city where the institutional offices, the major points of tourist interest and numerous places to enjoy the summer nightlife are concentrated.
