「Amazing stay. Our favorite stay of our Italy trip. Apartment is so large and comfortable and in a very nice area of town. 20 min walk to the historic center. Amazing gelateria across the street and the garage parking spot (though only for small cars) makes it very convenient. Easy street parking too. Very sparkling clean, bed comfortable. AC welcome in 100 degree heat wave. Wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely return if we are back in Modena.」

「Unser Aufenthalt in Modena im April 2026 war durch die Wohnung ein echter Glücksfall: der empathische Gastgeber war aufmerksam, zuvorkommend und jederzeit erreichbar. Die Lage der Wohnung ist schlicht genial - in einer verkehrsberuhigten Zone mitten im Herzen von Modena, 2 Gehminuten zum Dom, Verpflegung ist durch den Mercato Albinelli direkt gegenüber mehr als gesichert. 「When we arrived it took the host some time to open the gate. We took a taxi as this place is quite far out from modena. When he opened the gate he did not help unload or ask how the journey was etc but was chatting with our taxi driver as we stood obviously waiting to get to our rooms. He then told us the restaurant on site is closed and so was the pool. It was early evening when we arrived. We asked if there is anywhere to get food and he said he would tell us where but then picked up a phone...

「Leider hat das mit dem Parkplatz nicht geklappt. Es hat keinen zugewiesenen Parkplatz auf dem Grundstück wie auf Hotels.com vermerkt. Die Anweisung war unklar und zu spät. Wir irrten fast eine Stunde in der Altstadt von Modena umher und mussten anschliessend einen teuren Parkplatz bezahlen. Die Wohnung war ok und zentral.」

"It’s a nice old-school hotel which is centrally located between the train station and the old town so ticked all boxes for us. Room was well appointed and dark when it mattered, bed was comfortable and A/C worked well. Only negative is that the mini bar was filled with items that auto charge to your account once you move them, so you can’t fit much of your own personal items in the fridge."
