「Very nice set up. I picked this location for convenience from the airport. But after a couple of days, I moved closer to the volcano and decided to walk. For reference it’s a 90 minute walk, but it was incredibly awesome.」

「I’ve never experienced a better staff than these wonderful people at the Altamar, my girlfriend and I had such a wonderful time enjoying the beautiful scenery, beach, pool and food! The staff surprised us on numerous occasions with a romantic dinner table and breakfast table outside with candles and beanbags! This was my first trip to the Philippines and I’ve never in my life received the wonderful treatment of the staff, thank you for everything! This is the #1 place to stay!! 」

「The room was sufficient, but the bathroom definitely needed to be reworked. There is no hot running water. There is no real pressure for the shower. So I had to use the bucket and a kettle that was provided by the hotel to heat up my water so I wasn’t taking a cold bucket bath. There were also about a dozen ants inside the bathroom that I spotted. If anything, the bathroom can certainly be upgraded. The area around the property is very noisy with traffic. But if I would shut the bathroom window...

「 Stayed here before for convenience- same Moldy toilet and bathroom, carpet hallway in dire need of cleaning but this time around missing tv remote control on the 2nd day is added with a 2k charge. "The room was very good—clean, comfortable bedding, and spacious enough. A refrigerator would’ve been a nice touch, but it wasn’t essential. Shower pressure and temperature control were excellent. The hotel handled a 6:00 AM power outage impressively, switching to diesel backup within 5 minutes and later to solar. WiFi was fast enough for most needs. Staff were outstanding—friendly, helpful, and professional throughout. Excellent location near the best restaurants in Legazpi. The in-house restaurant was just okay, not a highlight. Would definitely stay again."
