「The house is situated on a beautiful lot with a man-made pond and apple orchards. The house itself is a little weary. Much of the furnishings are thrift store finds and could use some refreshing. 「Communication with property management was problematic. Specifically, I wanted assurances that pots and pans, if non-stick, were in good shape (i.e. no heavy wear and tear and scuffs). They said “yes” but that wasn’t the case when we got there. But if you talk to the local management, they are responsive. Also, the elevator was broken during the whole stay!We got our steps in but it was more work than I wanted.Finally, one morning, the smoke alarm in the hallway went off for no reason....
