What ever you do dont get room 118 the the hotel rooms are on on one floor the other 6 floors are apartments and whoever is above that makes tons of noise no food on property staff is not friendly at all we changed rooms to jr suite the other room was tiny no room for luggage on floor to open a suitcase

Dear Guest,We desire to thank you for selecting our Property and for your feedback but please be so kind ot understand that we cannot accept it because we desire to remind you that Liberty is Boutique Hotel of 18 rooms ( standard rooms - deluxe rooms - suite ) dislocated in only 3 floors : ground floor - first floor - second floor. No apartment are into our Hotel , we have only rooms as mentioned .Also 118 room is not of our rooms and no change of rooms have been made during your stay.Actually we remind you that you booked a double standard room but we made for your a free up grade ( free of charge ) . This property was geographically okay. However, the hotel is very tired and all the premises need a serious update and refurbishing. staff was helpful and friendly. breakfast had alot to be desired. coffee was the worst we had in italy

Liberty hotel was perhaps the home of an aristocrat, it has a period decor & shows great pride in their work. The parlor was inviting and we spent time with family chatting, reading , drawing, having a drink. Outstanding staff!

The Best!
The Liberty was the last stop on our two week trip to the entire rim of Sicily. It was a wonderful end. The girl that checked us in was so friendly and joyful and gave us great directions to a place to eat. The room was marvelous. Felt like a countess! The perfect last night to a fabulous trip!

Small boutique hotel, approximately 10 minutes walk from the centre of Catania. The rooms are a good size, decorated in a period manner. The concierge Antonio is very helpful.

A gem of a hotel in Catania!
This is an amazing place! It is in an area just off the city center so it is quiet but accessible. The staff is SO kind and they gave us a free bottle of wine for our anniversary. The rooms were clean and large, with a balcony. And free breakfast every morning. While Catania has a bit more grit than other parts of Italy we have visited, we loved our time there! We were visiting from Miami, FL.

The Liberty Hotel is in a very non-descript neighborhood, and the sign at the front is small. Once inside it is elegant and gracious. All the staff was terrific, the front desk is staffed 24/7 (and so is the bar) and the rooms are beautiful. It’s a short walk to a main shopping street and many restaurants, and easy to see the sights of Catania. There’s a great ceramic studio and shop just a block away, Maninterra, with beautiful traditional and modern ceramics. Breakfast is generous and can be taken outside on the beautiful terrace.

My check in with Alfonso was wonderful, He was welcoming, and explained everything thoroughly. The other staff was also terrific. Although we were a bit dubious at first about the immediate area around the hotel, our concerns were unfounded. It is safe, and located a walkable distance to many things.
