“We began our stay in Ischia recuperating from the trip at Samiramis. We moved Albergo Macri as a home base for day trips around Ischia and to Naples, Pozzuoli and the Amalfi Coast. We were very conveniently located to take ferries and buses for those day trips. There is an excellent restaurant just down the block, and many more around the port and further into Ischia Porto. The owners were very hospitable. Excellent value. ”

“The room was clean and the staff were kind. The AC didn’t work well, so we were hot. Also, was unable to get the TV to work; however, it was a great stay. Great location, great breakfast, and wonderful hotel environment. Extremely relaxing.”

“This is the perfect lodging for your stay in Ischia. It's a short drive from the Ischia marina, where the ferry drops you off, but the public bus (less than 3€ a ride) is right outside of the hotel to get you back to the Ischia Marina where there are countless bars and restaurants, as well as the main shopping on the island, or to Fario where you unlock another world of the island. So convenient! The hotel staff themselves are so accommodating, as well. The staff during our stay didn't speak……

At the breakfast buffet all the staff made sure that we had the food that we wanted, as well as as many coffees as we wanted overall great place to stay.”

“The location is great but lot of the service don’t work the restaurant was closed for lunch or dinner ,the phone in the room didn’t work but charged 4 euro to bring the breakfast in the room but I had to go downstairs !! If you wanted a pool towel they wanted ten euro a day mmm”
