“This was a wonderful place to have a family reunion. This is our second trip to this home. They take care of all of the small details including a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of beds and bunks for all the kids, an ice machine, a pool with a sun cover, Great outdoor spaces. The host was very responsive. We had an issue with the air conditioning and they had a repairman on site within 2 hours. We had chef Brad from local restaurant, pops smorgasbord, cater our meals and he was the highlight of……

From the homegrown veggies and freshly-picked flowers waiting for us when we got there, to the serenely peaceful environment and proximity to the talladega national forest…I can’t overstate how wonderful our stay was. Cooking over the campfire every night with the stars above us and barely any light pollution was something I could get used to. “We booked a very short notice, spontaneous long weekend. We had such a great time. The views from the house are amazing. The lake is stunning. We spent our time sitting out on the dock. My two older boys loved fishing and swimming. We also rented a pontoon boat for the day and just had an amazing time cruising around. It was definitely the R&R my family needed. This was our first time at lake Weiss and we will definitely be back. ”

“Tough to beat this lake lot for the price. A dock, two kayaks, and a nice place to stay. The bus was an interesting and cool accommodation. The location on the lake is in a quiet cove with little to no traffic. It was perfect for the two of us. The owners are super responsive as well. I had a couple of questions about the place and I needed some fishing advice. They were very quick to answer both.”

“The cottage was exactly as described in the listing and the reviews. My teenage son and I stayed here during a trip to the area for baseball, and it was perfect for us. We were close enough to where he was playing yet far enough away that we could enjoy the quietness. We enjoyed fishing the ponds and appreciated the little touches and supplies provided inside the cottage. We will definitely look to stay here again if baseball brings us back to the area.”
