“Hotel is a little out of town, and hard to find (no signage really, dirt road) but very quiet and comfortable. The owners and staff are all women, except a grounds keeper, all very kind. Breakfast was lovely. Pretty pool, perhaps underutilized, with nice alcoves around it where you can spend a few hours. Rooms are nice little cabanas, bathrooms partially open (but very private), which I liked.”

“Hotel Desertica is one of the nicest hotels my wife and I have ever stayed in. The location is 10/10, the staff are so friendly and the rooms are unique and luxury. My wife was ill for a day and the staff prepared off-menu chicken soup to make her better and provided local medicinal tea, which really helped. We had to change hotels due to availability but was so unimpressed by the alternative that we returned and spent the rest of our trip at Hotel Desertica. 5* all round!!”

“Jogamos dinheiro no lixo. O local, apesar de superfaturado, é bonito, mas não vale a pena. Quando chegamos, parecia fácil caminhar até o centro da cidade; que é relativamente longe para ir e voltar mais de uma vez por dia. No entanto, à noite, quando tentávamos voltar para o local, havia um "rio" passando pelo caminho, que não estava lá mais cedo, quando fomos. Era impossível passar. Ligamos para o dono do hotel e ele nos disse pra atravessar o rio andando com nossos sapatos. Não moveu um dedo……

“O Hostal Elim Atacama me surpreendeu positivamente e tem um excelente custo-benefício e ótima localização. A limpeza do quarto e do banheiro era impecável e a estrutura é muito boa: cama confortável, bastante roupa de cama, armários, secador de cabelo e amenities. O chuveiro merece destaque, pois tem ótima vazão e água bem quente. O hostal também deixa água potável disponível o tempo todo. Os funcionários são super prestativos. Eles me permitiram fazer o check-in antecipado e, após o check-out,……

Outro detalhe muito importante: alguns passeios pela região do Atacama começam antes do horário do café da manhã do hotel, porém eles disponibilizam um kit café da manhã como cortesia (com lanche, suco, frutas e snacks)”

“Easy walk to main shopping area where you’ll find great cafe, restaurants, tourist shops & tour companies. No need to pre book your tours. Supermarket across the road which was very handy. Clean room with comfortable beds. Small pool. Staff are very friendly and the cook makes a delicious cake served with a simple but nice breakfast. ”
