"The house was nice and the view was great but the house was infested with ants and mosquitoes. They were through the entire house. There was bug spray at the house and we used it, it helped some. We had to call the property manager twice in two days. Once because the toilet was broken then again to replace the furnace filter. It was incredibly dirty and we had family with asthma staying. "We had a wedding to attend and looked for a place nearby and we are so happy we chose to stay at the luxury lodge in the wilderness. The cabin was impeccably clean and well stocked. We were lucky to see foxes and deer, just beautiful."

I sent Ches & Spring a message asking if they had anything else available and unbeknownst to me, the Ponderosa guesthouse was still available. "I happened to stumble upon this listing when my family decided to get away for spring break. The cabin is located in a super calm neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Google maps fooled me thinking the property was across the street from the lake. It wasn't as accurate as I'd like, but water front access is 5ish minutes away. We met the cleaning staff upon arrival. They were very helpful with information. I would suggest getting supplies prior to arrival as the nearest fully stocked grocery...

"This was a great place for my four siblings with our spouses to meet for our annual family reunion. There was plenty of space for everyone! They provide more towels, toilet paper, games and water “toys” than we’ve ever experienced since we started our reunions five years ago. We totally enjoyed ourselves!! "Beautiful and spacious cabin which included many amenities. If your concerned about climbing many stairs to the covered boat dock, don’t be. The boat dock is only approximately 100’ from the cabin. The nearest boat ramp is maybe 5 minutes away and the ramp can be seen from the cabin. Many good restaurants in the area along with some great antique stores. Nashville is only an hour and a half away as well!"
