"We weren’t disappointed by this property at all. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding . I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "

"We had a great week and this house, it’s a fantastic property well equipped for 3 families with 7 children all under the age of 13. The terrace and pool area were perfect for long, lazy lunches in the sunshine. We had a slight issue with the freezer that was dealt very promptly by the helpful and friendly owners. Would definitely recommend this as a place for friends and family for a get together."

"Exceptional property in beautiful rural location. 18 of our family stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed this delightful holiday accommodation. Superb pool, great covered/outside eating area, boules, table tennis etc. Air conditioning in one apartment building, thick walls and therefore relatively cool in the other apartment building. Really super stay. Note for English renters: Towels and toilet paper not provided as we believe is the custom in France."

"The house and pool were absolutely lovely. Pool was great size for 3 teens and us and well used in a very hot week. Well equipped, lovely garden and patio. Lots of day trips about and easy to access."

"The studio of Alaine and Isobelle was ideal for my wife and myself they were very friendly and helpful. The village was situated well with a Coop, boulanger and a bar tabac who's owners were very pleasant and helpful and it was close to Royan and the place's we wanted to visit."

"Le Chalet est situé au calme au milieu des vignes avec une belle vue sur l'estuaire, très bien équipé, il permet de penser qu'à soit et à la détente, un super U et un LIDL sont à 20 minutes en voiture pour les courses du quotidien, le village de Mortagne-sur-Gironde est quand à lui à 5 minutes pour le pain. Un grand terrain de 2000m² est à disposition avec terrain de pétanque et une piscine à partager avec le gite de 8 personnes."

"Lovely property situated in a quiet rural location. Twenty mins drive to Talmont and Meschers, 30 mins to Royan. Thaims is a farming community so expect to hear tractors working the fields. Supermarket ten mins away in Cozes. Patrice the patron is lovely, speaks very good English and is always available on the phone if needed. Well recommended 👍"
