“Myself and a friend were beyond satisfied with the choice we made. Stargazing was the goal and this location and host far exceeded expectations. “My adult daughter and I stayed 2 nights while visiting the Petrified Forest. We felt very comfortable and we very much appreciated the bagels and coffee that were left for our breakfast. Shockingly several inches of snow arrived on our second night ( despite being mid April) We were warm and cozy at the Bird Nest. I recommend this VRBO to anyone coming to the area ”

“Mrs. Sandee was the sweetest person I've met. Her home is beautiful and the views were to live for. You will not regret staying at this property. Plenty of entertainment with videos, books, and just outdoor grilling and bonfire pit. Again you will not regret it.”

“I was in St. John’s for a business trip. The house was a great place to stay. It was very clean, well decorated, and very comfortable. If I ever need a place to stay in St. John’s again, this would be my choice.”

“Terrible place to be. No access road, you need a 4x4 to drive through the dusty and deserted area. Far from the main road. We did not stay there but chose to get away before our RV got ruined. Never again!”

"The check-in experience was a bit troublesome. I arrived late at night, the front desk assigned me the wrong room, which required me to go back and forth to update my key card. After I was unable to open the door again, a staff member accompanied me upstairs and opened the room and then we found this one was already occupied. I hope this didn’t alarm the guest inside. The room I was finally assigned had stained sheet. Other than these issues, everything else was fine. I hope the hotel can improve its attention to detail."
