“A group of us went to celebrate a 40th birthday. This place was everything we were looking for. It was very secluded with no neighbors in sight! There were 11 of us and 2 dogs. We did a lot of fishing and paddle boarding (the boat and 2 paddle boards were provided at no extra cost!). Being from the city we all really enjoyed star gazing and we all saw shooting stars. The house was clean, the kitchen was well stocked and there was laundry on site. 10/10 would recommend staying here and we hope to……

“We travelled to the area for my daughter's graduation from NMU. This property was a beautiful relaxation retreat from the busy happens of the weekend. Whether it was relaxing outside by the fire or hanging in the basement/game room, it was the perfect location away from all the people in town for the weekend. “This older house made us feel at home. The view over the lake is amazing. We got a perfect view of a double rainbow from the hot tub. The fenced yard allowed us to bring our dogs making the trip that much easier. “Greg & Kate’s home in MQT is wonderful. The home was clean and we were immediately greeted with a welcome basket and a note on their chalkboard. This is our 6th summer up to MQT, and their home is a favorite spot thus far. The location is great to walk to downtown- and a quick drive to Presque Isle. But the view of Lake Superior is something spectacular. The sunrise each morning was beautiful. If we lived here I’d park myself in the kitchen 24/7 for the view. “This simple, no-frills, property was close to everything! We could walk to NMU campus, downtown, and lots of cafes right down the block. As noted in the listing, it is right across the street from BlackrocksBrewery, so we could hear music from our rooms and a little bit of street noise from people leaving. There was a fan provided, that helped with white noise, so everyone was able to sleep OK.”

“This property was perfect for our extended families vacation. Very close to a nice park and close to town where we hung out most days. Communication with the host was great. Although we reviewed it 5 stars, there’s a few things worth noting. The hot tub is just an inflatable one that doesn’t stay hot very long.
