Initially we booked a room for three nights, but as soon as we entered our room (#300) we decided to leave the hotel as soon as possible. The price that we were charged ( almost $500/night ) did not reflect the condition and comfort of the room that we received. The room was dark, right outside of the elevator, the bed is old and squeaky, and the bathroom is small, you can barely turn around .
The worst part was the noisy AC that was spilling out black soot, which landed on our suitcase and left stains. After we asked to change rooms, we were told nothing was available, so we have to leave to another hotel. Not too far away we found another hotel with superior service and better conditions for a smaller rate.
We chose this hotel based on the proximity to historical downtown and reviews online.
They charged a lot but this is a 3-star inn. Just a place to stay in downtown but not to enjoy your accommodations.
Would not recommend and never going back again.
