Spacious, clean and beautiful house! Excellent service and communication by your company. The location was not ideal since the water was so shallow by our pier. Neighbor’s dog was annoying with the barking.

Beautiful and spacious

Our group had a great time. The home was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The location is quiet with a beautiful view of the lake. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the host was quick to respond to my request for an early check-in.

Family Christmas

Great house for groups. Extra clean, luxury linens, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen with an abundance of dishes for 12. Located very near grocery stores and restaurants. Will definitely be going back.

Beautiful home on the lake

This house is nestled in one of the coves of Lake Norman and was perfect for our family getaway. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, pots, pans, etc. however, you will need to bring or buy any seasonings, cooking oil, etc. if you want to cook while you’re there. We rented a boat and they delivered it to the dock in the backyard, which was fantastic. The house has a ton of space and is very comfortable. Quick drive to Birkdale Village. The week went by way too fast.

Watching the sunset on the dock was the best part of the stay. The view is perfect! House was nice as well.

Great Lake Norman stay

We just stayed a few days. everything about this property was perfect. Beds all comfortable. Sitting on dock very delightful. Morning coffee on porch - very peaceful and quiet. Would definitely return! Thank you.

Beautiful home!

I told my husband that I’m never leaving! Gorgeous home on beautiful property. The sunsets were 🔥🔥🔥 The dock was a peaceful oasis for coffee. The tree swing was a “hit” with everyone. Would love to have occasion to use this home again!

Labor day

We had a wonderful time. The neighbors do not seem happy with the fact this home is vacation rental. The dock needs handrails but is clearly new and likely a work in progress. The kitchen was well-stocked. Great vacation rental!

Christmas on the Lake - 22 thru 27 Dec, 2023

This is our second Dock Holiday Vacation. This home is strategically positioned in one of the many picturesque coves of Lake Norman, North Carolina. The holiday decorations were a perfect touch for our family of 10 to spend Christmas together under one roof. The home created an environment of peace while the lake ushered in calm and well-being giving rise to happy thoughts, a time of much needed bonding in sharing of blessings in life I would like to thank Lakecation and AvantStay for this experience, Again, Thank you from Kim and Dan.

Inadequately prepared

No garage remotes No dish drying rack No live TV, no streaming in living room Two smoke detectors needed batteries But the biggest problem was the inadequate HVAC system. Master bedroom thermostat set at 74 -- never got below 79. Main set at 78 -- never got above 74. Heat and cool air did flow through register; just not enough.

Peaceful

We had a great trip to Huntersville at this beautiful property. It’s very peaceful and at the end of the road. Beautiful water front views. Plenty of room for our entire family. It doesn’t seem like the neighbors like that it is a rental property. Be careful with noise. We had a small Bluetooth speaker and we’re sitting out at the fire pit, but there’s a noise sensor on the house that picked up our speaker that was sitting right underneath it. We got a message to be quiet, even though we were not being loud at all. I contacted the property manager and she said all is well. The property manager was very attentive and kind. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone in our party. The kitchen was well equipped and I had everything I needed for a beautiful Thanksgiving dinner. I would definitely stay here again.
