Welcome to Happy Camper! This one-of-a-kind lakefront home features a ranch-style house and a virtually new Airstream on the property; the two together sleep 10!

Upon entering this mid-century modern home, you are greeted with floor-to-ceiling windows with amazing lake views. The foyer gives access to the living room with a sectional sofa, seating 6 comfortably. In the living room, your group can gather and watch TV while taking in the epic lake views from the sliders to the back deck. Off the living room is a large dining area with two tables. The first formal table seats 8, and the adjacent table is a perfect location for board games, puzzles, or kids' meals, sitting 6.

The fully stocked kitchen is set up for your group to prepare three square meals a day while enjoying the comforts of home & seating for additional guests at the kitchen island. All kitchen appliances are new within the past two years. The home is equipped with a Reverse Osmosis Water Purification system for drinking water and ice.

There are three bedrooms on the main level of the main house. The primary has a king bed, an attached bathroom with dual vanities, and a shower/tub combo. Guest room #1 offers a queen-sized bed, and guest room #2 features a bunk room with two twin-over-twin bunk beds. The bunk room sleeps four and is perfect for the kiddos' sleepover. The two guest rooms share a hall bath with a tub/shower combo.

Outside the main house, there is a classic Airstream travel trailer that serves as a 4th guest suite for two guests. This late-model luxury trailer has a trailer queen-size bed and a full bath. The trailer has dual zone heating and air conditioning, a dining table, a corner sectional, and a mini kitchen with a sink, microwave, and refrigerator (stove not to be used for cooking). The Airstream has its own deck with a table and chairs for four and 2 Adirondack chairs overlooking Lake Norman. The perfect complement to the main house, with a bit of privacy. **Airstream is for ADULTS ONLY**

Outside at Happy Camper, there is plenty of space and activities galore to entertain your group. Off the main level of the house is a large deck that spans the length of the house, featuring an outdoor seating area and dining area, both overlooking Lake Norman. Seating at tables and chairs (for 8) lets you enjoy your meals lakeside & enjoy evenings on the lake.

New dock has been completed for guest to use and bring their own rental boat. The dock has a great covered area for hanging with your group and a large area for your boat!

The lakeside firepit will surely be a hit as you make s'mores and create lifelong memories. During the day, we recommend taking turns on the lake with the pedal boat and stand-up paddle board, which are great ways to adventure around the lake.

- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Guests can also use the paddle boat and paddle board.
- The neighbor's beach is not part of the amenities provided by Happy Camper Rental.
- No events, group gatherings, or parties are allowed at any AvantStay property under any circumstances.
- Due to natural fluctuations, we’re unable to provide specific water depth information at any given time. The majority of docks in this area are generally suitable for most average-sized pontoons and ski boats. However, since boat drafts can vary, guests are encouraged to refer to Lake Norman nautical charts, GPS systems, and depth maps—and rely on their own knowledge of their vessel’s specifications—to ensure safe navigation.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we cannot always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 28 days require a security deposit.
