After our trip, I went back and re-read the reviews. Makes us feel like we stayed in a different home. Pros: Home has great bones with so much potential. Spacious, lots of windows, spacious back yard. Cons: One of our guests said the home looked like a college bachelor pad with all the furnishings coming from a poorly stocked thrift stores. The LR pics fail to show pilling, lumpy, torn upholstery on them. Colorful pillows in pics gone, as is the area rug which looks cleaner in pic than the rug which was well worn and dirty. We had a 1.5yr baby (no portable crib avail) & in multiple rooms he found the open outlets (perfect little hand size open to reach inside) with all the electrical wires hanging out. Others hanging from the ceiling, and walls in multiple rooms (also excluded from pics) having holes, damaged plaster walls & paint missing in large areas. There is no way this house could pass housing codes, and was a significant hazard for small children. Kitchen & bath counter tops covered in piece-meal-covered sticky paper to fake the look of marble. Sticky paper edges all curled and snagged 2 different sweaters. It also can't be sanitized with old, brittle curled edges (such a easy fix with inexpensive linoleum). The kitchen toaster oven was (guessing )at least 25yo & 3 dys inoperative. Over 4 day stay we found at least 50% of the outlets don't work. The toaster is very heavy & moved to across the kitchen it worked. Jacuzzi didn't work.
