Unique fun house

Great stay with our little family. Would be wonderful for any boaters or for 2 families to share. Pool and guest apartment are added bonus!

Lake house

House was very nice - had another room outside of home. Great for a weekend getaway- only negative not handicapped accessible-and steep back to get to the lake- steps are hard to navigate.i would not advise for older or people that have lack of balance.

We had a good time at the lake but there were some pros and cons that we experienced that I hope will help others decide if this is the place for them. Overall it was a very peaceful property close (in a car) to shops and food. There was nothing within walking distance though which was annoying. We should have looked more at reviews before booking. It has two separate apartments so it would be good for groups who prefer to be split up.We thought the garage apartment was two bedrooms connected with stairs. It was not. It is two completely separate units. One of which only has access to an outdoor shower. We had a group ranging in age from a very new toddler walking to older folks with mobility issues. The yard looks level and nice but we were unable to use it because it is actually a very steep hill to the water. Beyond that, the pool is gorgeous and why we booked the house but it was said it was heated in our guidebook but was a consistent 58 degrees the entire time, even in direct sun the whole time. It is also very dangerous terrain by the pool. It’s all bumpy rocks and a very narrow walkway by it, so nowhere to lay out or hang out by the pool itself. The window sills in the house kept randomly falling off and we realized they weren’t held on by anything at all except a few large staples that were sticking out, right at eye level for our newly waking toddler. Overall not a place we’d book again, especially at the price point.
