25th Anniversary

This place was AMAZING!! There were only two issues we had, but none had to do with the actual house or had any control over. One was the neighbor had some trees being removed, and some work being done. So there was a lot of noise; didn’t make for very “relaxing by the pool”.Two WAS the pool. Husband and I were there for two days. First day we planned jet skis on the lake - a “lake day”. Second day we planned to stay around the beautiful house to enjoy the pool - a “pool day”. It was communicated that lawn service was coming while we were there,; no problem, didn’t take long. However, the pool company came while the lawn service was there. No biggie, we had to wait for the lawn service anyway. It was taking a bit longer than we expected, so my husband asked how much longer for the pool to be ready. He then lets us know he had to shock the pool, so we can’t use it for 6HOURS! That’s the whole day! It was a bummer, but management extended our check out to 2pm, so we can enjoy the next day. It turned out it was a bit chilly the next day, but the gesture was nice and we enjoyed sleeping in. Management docs does mention pool cleaning, but it should be communicated the possibility of it not being available, and WHEN the pool company will be there (like they did for the lawn service) BUT the place was truly a DREAM!!!

The property was exactly what we needed for our family to be together. The house was open concept and spacious. The outdoor living space had many sitting areas which were ideal. It was clean, modern and in a beautiful neighbourhood. The area was quiet, lake views that were picture perfect with the sunrises and sunsets.

Birthday Getaway

This property was exactly as described and we enjoyed every second. Although it rained for most of our stay, there was still plenty of fun had with ping pong, and the game room downstairs. Would recommend and stay again!

Great Lake House

Our family enjoyed our stay at Ringneck Retreat. The house was very accommodating. Pool was wonderful! Also had a boat rental which was ready and waiting when we arrived! Location on the lake as well as to shopping and restaurants was the best. Would most definitely stay again!

Balled on the lake

We wanted a decent but local get away for my son’s 13th birthday! This was definitely it and we hope to book again in the near future. This house was everything and more than we expected! The hosts were great. I was worried about parking initially, but the driveway was so long and the view was breathtaking!

Great place

Nice home in a quiet neighborhood. Only negatives were no closet in the master to hang clothing and they do not have the pool heated after October. It would be nice if they offered the pool heated after October even for an extra fee. Other than that, very nice home.

Easy like Sunday morning….

This property is absolutely breathtaking. The immediate feeling of relaxation that came over us was just what we needed. Stay Lake Norman thought of every convenience outside of meal preparation. The property included toiletries that were enough for the duration of the stay in addition to the linens that kept us from having to be concerned with anything the entire week. The space was more than enough. The view was amazing. The fact they checked on us almost daily was appreciated. Thanks for everything.

Family Getaway

Really enjoyed the house and amenities. Hot tub was a hit! Wish the weather had been a little better so we could have used the fire pit and ping pong table more! Loved the large round dining table- perfect for games with our large family. Wish there were additional chairs for it. We had 9 people so we have to improvise for the last person. Not sure what larger groups would do for meals as there are only 11 seats total and the place sleeps 14. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and appreciated the available supplies and toiletries! Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Home With a Great Lake View

Our family ranging in age from 11-73 had a wonderful time vacationing at Ringneck Retreat. The house is possibly our favorite of all the vacation homes we have rented over the years. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen with good quality pots, pans and baking pans. We even had a fun night with a personal chef cooking for us. The pool was a huge hit with the kids. It is well maintained; the water was warm and inviting. Our gathering spot after dinner was the deck overlooking beautiful Lake Norman. To sum it up, Ringneck Retreat is a well maintained house with a great lake view. Located not far from markets, restaurants, etc. Historic Downtown Mooresville, a short ride from the house, has lots of charm and worth visiting.

Amazing, with one small request

The house is better than in the picture, and the view is gorgeous! The pool was heated to the perfect temperature, and the kids loved the rec room downstairs. My only request is the addition of a few space-heaters downstairs. I slept downstairs and it was *freezing* - about 10° colder than upstairs (hence the four stars). Other than that, I highly recommend this property!
