Buyer Beware:
The advertisement on Expedia and VRBO for the "Sunny Daze" condo rental specifically states the unit has "free WiFi and a Smart TV" available as part of the rental fee, which is being used as an inducement to rent the condo.
However, there was no WiFi or TV service for 3 of the 4 nights I stayed there in March 2024. This was not because of a sudden, unexpected problem. The property manager/owner admitted in writing that they knew of the WiFi problem, that it had happened multiple times before, and that they meant to change it but didn't get around to it. Plus, they left town before I got there, knowing this could be an issue in the unit, but put no one else in charge and then expected me to service the router by sending multiple texts with different directions on how to reset the router, none of which worked until the last day. I certainly didn't expect I would have to be a service person while on vacation!
Additionally, the owner admitted that the door code didn't work the night before I arrived, so her answer was to leave the unit open all day, with a key inside, allowing anyone and everyone to access it before I got there. I had to have a male relative meet me there to check the unit before I could stay there to make sure an intruder wasn't hiding inside. What a great way to start a vacation!
If you want to rent in this location, you can choose quite a few other units. I suggest you look at those and save yourself headaches!
