"The reception staff were very welcoming and friendly. The availability of a small kitchen facility in the room was not advertised but very welcome. The TV channel 'list' in the room gave the impression that only 'local' channels were available when in fact (by luck) I found there were many more international news channels, etc. Which was a bonus. The location was very quiet (end of September) but well situated. Overall I had great visit and would not consider anywhere else should I return to the area in the future. Thanks "
"Secure parking, with electronic gate for access to propertyEverything was spotlessly clean inside and lovely large gardens outside, with plenty of parking.Within minutes of good shops and centre of Courseulles, where there were plenty of restaurants."
Gite in the countryside between Caen, Bayeux and the sea
10/10 Excellent
"Paul is an excellent host and speaks good English. The Gite is a lovely little cottage suitable for a couple. It does include some steep steps that will mean it is not suitable for every one.
Its location makes it a good quiet base within easy reach of all the Normandy Beaches and Monuments.
Anyone arriving on a Sunday should come with a supply of food because there is nowhere open locally on Sunday afternoon."
"Wonderful house so much history the owner was wonderful nothing was to much trouble and enjoyed breakfast in beautiful surroundings a delightful stay for two nights "
