You are left a large supply of free logs for the fire which makes the place feel so cosy, told if you run out to just leave the basket outside and it will be filled up again for you. "Relaxing and quiet location. The property was as listed and we were very comfortable during our stay. Little touches like Christmas tree and pint of milk were welcome. Despite the typical British weather the property’s location allowed us to explore the local area such as Cheddar Gorge and Wells. Would thoroughly recommend Berrow beach-quiet and dog friendly! We loved the view out across the fields."

"Great property and value for money , communication with the host was great and they helped us when our vehicle broke down. Only fault we could find was the top floor ceiling was very low and a bit of a problem for the adults. maybe a note in the initial booking form to explain this would be a good idea. Other than that PERFECT."

"If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this is the perfect place! We had a relaxing and luxurious break at the Congrove Barns for our honeymoon. The property is cosy, stylish and well stocked with kitchen equipment. The beds are incredibly comfortable (& huge!) and the living space is relaxing and comfortable. The hot tub is also a great treat, along with the large bath in the master bathroom. Overall, a truly idyllic spot for a getaway."

"We returned to stay at the Old Stables again for a few days, coupled with a visit to Glastonbury and Wells. Again, everything was perfect and we love the location, providing excellent access to both towns, with a wonderful rural setting. The space is warm and cosy, with everything being thoughtfully provided for a self-catering stay. We will certainly be back!"

"Cottage just georgous, lovely and quiet. We had a good rest whilst enjoying the local sites of Wells and Frome. We enjoyed a meal at the Oakhill pub at the end of the road, a very good recommendation. Beds were compfy, shower good, everything you need kitchen wise, garden great for our small dogs. The fire was great and we were kept very warm. For us, the sofa was the only downside. Ultimately we loved our stay ❤️"

"Cannot fault this lovely property right on the banks of the river! We stayed a week at the Nest. It is more spacious than it appears. It is beautifully appointed with stylish decor and a sumptuously comfortable bed. There is a good size lounge and dining area with log fire, to cosy up and read a book. Tracey went above and beyond in preparing the treasure hunt for children. Christmas decorations were lovely. BBQ is a great addition to the cottage. "The property is nestled in the pretty countryside and is very peaceful. The lodge was impeccably clean, warm and comfortable. There was plenty of space for six adults from four different households, occupying four double rooms and the large dining table allowed us to gather round and play cards and board games. We were very impressed."
