The beds were very comfortable! The room was close to the swimming pool. The inn was close to food and recreation places. I didn't intentionally request a smoking room. I was actually surprised that the room we were in was a smoking room because it DID NOT stink of smoke. The only thing that gave it away was the ashtrays in the room.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Great Smokies Inn! It was extremely clean. The staff was constantly cleaning and making sure that their guests had everything they needed and everyone seemed to enjoy working at this establishment. The water pressure was excellent and plenty of hot water. The beds were very comfortable. There are so many good restaurants and shops within walking distance. I can't say enough good things about this place.

Everything was perfect, from the friendly staff to the old school spacious and spotless room. One of the cleanest hotels that I have ever stayed at! They even gave our kids a precious Cherokee bag full of goodies. We will definitely be back!

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Check in and check out was flawless. The king smoking room had no residual smoke smells. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Everything was working in the room, lamps, tv, remote, refrigerator, microwave, air controls, etc. The shower had very strong water pressure, but the faucet outside of the bathroom had low water pressure but was working. Overall, I enjoyed my two night stay at this inn and would return there again in the future.

Spent a couple of days in Cherokee for the 4th and we found the perfect spot at Great Smokies Inn. The hotel is nicely maintained, has a great pool area and is a convenient walk to several restaurants and shops. Beds are firm but still comfortable and our room had great water pressure with unlimited hot water which was nice. The TV’s are small (32”) but other than that no complaints. The casino was a quick five minute drive down the road and we were close to many great fishing spots. We will definitely come back to the area and stay here again.
