Up & Away Cabin is a beautiful cabin duplex located in the Maggie Valley Country Club, set in a quiet, tranquil nook above the golf course, and offers lovely winter mountain views. Up & Away offers a perfect mountain vacation with all the comforts of home including gas log fireplace, central A/C and Heat, fully equipped kitchen, large covered deck, hot tub, gas grill, campfire, 2 recliners, 2 wing back chairs, and a full-size sleeper sofa in the living room, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, cable, Smart TVs, DVD players, tons of board games, DVD library, WiFi, and free unlimited local and long-distance phone calls.

Up & Away offers an outstanding mountain vacation for both those seeking relaxation and those in search of adventure. Maggie Valley Country Club is a private community with miles of private roads, the golf course just a half-mile down, and the driving range just a short stroll away. Great place to walk or bike. This is a safe environment for children to wander and explore. This property is available year-round with easy access. Bikers have plenty of parking for a trailer!
Just outside of the Maggie Valley Country Club, it is just a short drive to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Cataloochee Ski Area and Snow Tubing, Cherokee Indian Reservation and Harrah’s Casino, Blue Ridge Parkway with scenic views, Biltmore Estate and Winery, Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, Whitewater Rafting, Zip Lining, Hiking, Horseback Riding, Wheels Through Time Museum, Mingus Mill, Cataloochee Valley with roaming elk, Waterfalls, also Antiquing, Shopping and Dining in Maggie Valley, Waynesville and Asheville, NC.

This cabin was clean and comfortable for our stay in Maggie Valley to visit family. We enjoyed sitting in the living room by the fire as often as possible and on the front porch enjoying the view. The kitchen was stocked well and the king size bed was comfortable. Our only disappointment was that the hot tub did not have very powerful jets and was overly chlorinated. I tried it for a brief time. Communication with the host and property manager was great and entry to the property went smoothly. We liked the extensive handbook with all the area information as well.

Very clean. A private and quiet location. Host phoned pre and post stay to make sure everything was to our liking. My sister and I are both in our seventies and this home was easily accessed without physical barriers. Location is near restaurants, shopping and attractions. A very pleasant experience.

Wonderful

Leslie, the home owner, was easy to communicate with. She was pleasant and highly accommodating. We traveled for a conference and enjoyed a little respite in her cabin. I enjoyed how it was close to town, but secluded with only a couple other properties in the same corner. The cabin was like home and the hot tub was an oasis after long days. We did not have any issues during our stay and would gladly stay at Leslie’s property again.

Cool Mountain Stay

We had an awesome stay. Enjoyed the quiet and beautiful view on the Porch. Loved the variety of wildlife, hated to leave "Chip and Dale" - 2 of the cutest chipmunks ever! It was also my first time seeing them and loved it. The Owner is very accommodating and makes you feel like family. I would definitely stay here again if I am in the area.

Great place to enjoy Maggie Valley!

We stayed at Up & Away for a ski trip in Maggie Valley. It was a perfect place for our trip with plenty of room and very well stocked with anything you would need. It was very quiet and felt remote, yet close to Maggie Valley as well as Waynesville. I particularly liked the deck which was a nice size with great views. The hot tub was very relaxing. I think we enjoyed the cabin much more than the ski slopes! The driveway was a little challenging the first time (they always are in the mountains) but we got used to it quick. Leslie was very helpful and wanted to make sure we had no problem getting settled in! Up & Away was a great value and I would certainly stay again.

AMAZING!!!

We absolutely loved staying at up & away! The house was immaculate! They had plenty of games to keep the kids occupied. Fully equipped! Cozy & comfy! & the hot tub was a hit with the kids! The owners/managers are very friendly & respond right away when contacted! & are Very informative! 10/10 recommend!! We even got an hour away after leaving and realized we left something & they were kind enough to meet us back at the cabin so we could get it.

Girls ski trip

I stayed here while I went with two girlfriends to ski at Cataloochee.. we loved the patio and the hot tub. The beds were comfortable and the fireplace was lovely. We all enjoyed our stay and would return to stay again.

Ski weekend

We had a great weekend. This cabin is about 20 mins from the ski resort. We had a great day of skiing and then enjoyed the hot tub when we got back. Please was clean and comfortable. We will be back to stay.
