The Mill Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Great stay. A little warm in communal areas as no aircon. But nice hotel "
"We stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I had booked a superior king bedroom but they had upgraded us to a suite which was so special, there was a card in the room congratulating us on our 16th anniversary. Such lovely touches to make the experience truly memorable. The bed was huge, comfortable and clean. The suite was spacious with a great view of the beautiful city of Chester.
The breakfast was very tasty from the freshly squeezed orange juice to the home baked pastries.
I would recommend the Chester Grosvenor to everyone and anyone, particularly if you are celebrating something and want a memorable experience.
Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable. "
"We have visited this hotel on several occasions and it is lovely to see it after the refurbishment. It has been done to a very high standard and the dining options available are excellent. "
"9 of us stayed in this house, decent sized bedrooms, comfy bed. ? Water tank noisy overnight, louder in particular in front double bedroom leading to a disturbed sleep.Cleanliness on arrival was mostly good, some dog hairs on couch but could see it had been vacuumed. On arrival muddy puddle in left corner of garden but dried out quickly due to sunny weather, Garden small but does get the sun, all paved more like a yarden. Missing fence panel - not great if travelling with young children but was advised this is due to be fixed."
"This was the perfect location for us to stay to be able to visit Cheshire Oaks, Chester Zoo and Chester, just 10mins drive from each. I avoided hotels in Chester due to lack of easy parking options but this one was great. Really nice rooms, clean and modern with lots of amenities. Breakfast was good, plenty of hot and continental choices. We loved the warm cookie at check in too - a nice touch! Staff were all very nice and friendly."
