“Began witting this while in this locale... Another restless night. This rental is located 20 meters from Hwy 307, a main route north and south on the Mexican Carribean. The road noise is/was awful. We also listened to a water pump loudly whine all night the first night. I sent the host a notice that the pumps bearing was likely going out. They responded they knew and stated the pump had been disconnected. For one night we didn't hear the pump. Then the next two nights, our last two. I read……

“We went to Xcalak not really ,knowing what to expect…we arrived to the property and made ourselves at home…we walked around town and most looked at us like we were as new in town as we were..this only lasted a few days and then everyone greeted us with a friendly smile and a Hola wherever we went Xcalak is the town time forgot…it’s a place where relaxation can truly take place…we ate at most of the restaurants in the area and enjoyed every meal…nothing fancy just real food The house was fine……

“It was a fabulous unit! Loved the terrace for sitting out and reading my book. The rooftop pool was quiet and I soaked up all the sun up there! Easy access to everything! Very clean and modern unit! Highly recommend it and will stay there again! The bed was very comfortable!”
