"The property was beautiful and the staff was excellent. The spa was not open all day only 4 to 8. The breakfast was exceptional. I would go back. The spa was immaculate as was the rest of the hotel. My only issue was that the room was too warm and there was no way to cool it down except open the slider with no screen."

"Beautiful villa, well equipped extremely clean and a view that is just out of this world. The town of Colico on the northern side of the lake is well worth the stay. Hardly any tourists, no crowds, far cheaper than other more busier areas. Great local restaurants and wonderful food. Take the ferry and avoid the crowds."

"This gorgeous apartment in Dorio was amazing. The views from the terrace are breathtaking. The apartment has all the modern conveniences and is tastefully decorated.We found the beds extremely comfortable and clean.The apartment is in the quiet town of Dorio, which we enjoyed because Varenna felt too touristy for our tastes though accessible by car. Sue, the host was very responsive when we needed to contact her.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this stunning apartment with a view. Thank you Sue and Martin!"

"The room was clean, modern and the electronic blackout shutters were appreciated. Check in and issue of electronic room keys was straightforward. The bistro downstairs was friendly and lively. It would be useful for the hotel to provide instructions on the lighting as the system was not very intuitive. The safe did not work - a small inconvenience. "
