Checking in was contact-less through the kiosk when entering the builiding, and was an easy process. "Excellent stay. Clean room, albeit dated but did not deter our stay in any way. Staff was kind and spoke English. We utilized the in-room washer and dryer (bring your own pods). The room was huge. We had a separate bedroom with a queen and a twin sized bed that was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. It’s close to both the green and olive green lines. 15 minutes by subway to lotte world. "

"we had the most relaxing end to our 3week holiday in Korea with the last 4 days staying at Douglas house. we were taken good care of by all the staff in particular the dinner staff and breakfast staff. Although the language barrier was a little challenging, they did their best to assist us. Lovely grounds to walk around, there is so much to see and do within the Ealkerhill complex. Thank you all and we would gladly come back again and also highly recommend anyone wanting to stay here"

Surrounding area was lovely but walking it was for the able bodied only! Great food and service and what you might expect from a luxury hotel. Wine extremely well curated at the shop. Bath in room clean, but really small with ambulance impeded by how bath was situated. Overall, I would give this a slid 4/5 rating and would go again. "

"I don't understand some of the negative reviews I have read here about this hotel. Everyone working at reception was very pleasant and helpful. The room was very well equipped, lots of storage, a safe, a fridge. Bathroom with amenities, large walk-in shower. Very quiet throughout the day and the night. It is not located within the touristy area but it's just 5mn walk from the metro station and line 5 is very convenient."

"Ok stay. Hotel a little dated, it is located on a good bus route. 20 mins to the markets we wanted to visit. Really good affordable restaurants in the area. Would have liked to stay abit more central but then we wouldn't have eaten at local great places. Would have liked bigger towels and a kettle in the room. Also the bed sheets don't feel soft but comfortable mattress. Could improve in some areas but ok for prince in Korea. "
