We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Garten! The villa was absolutely wonderful — beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and incredibly comfortable. It even had a private pool, which was a great bonus and made our stay feel extra special. It was definitely worth every penny. Although the villa was located a few meters from the main hotel, transportation was never an issue — they provided a shuttle at any time, and all we had to do was send a quick text. Super convenient! We had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, and it was a highlight of our trip. My husband and kids enjoyed it just as much as I did. The drinks were delicious — we had a Mojito and the Passion Fruit Margarita, both perfectly made. Our kids loved their Blue Lagoon mocktails! To start, we had the Sashimi, which was fresh and flavorful. For the main course, we ordered the Pulpo a la Parrilla, La Gran Mariscada, and Camarones al Curry — every dish was outstanding, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. We loved our experience so much that we ended up booking an extra night. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

When we got there there was stains on the floor. Very overpriced we waited almost an hour for our food. Our apartment was a little drive away from where we checked in. The Garten hotel was very comfortable with amazing food, service and views. We love the boutique hotel vibe with 5 star service. The proximity to the beach was amazing. We would definately stay here again and would recommend to anyone going to El Salvador.

The hotel is very nice. Hospitality was generally great. The service for the restaurant was hit or miss, depending on the employees working that day. But any service involving our room was excellent. Keep in mind that there is a lot of construction surrounding the hotel as the area is starting to grow. That's not the hotel's fault and it's temporary, but it did get loud at times. Overall, one of the better spots to stay in El Zonte.
