We Loved Staying at Sunrise Shore ! The view from inside the Home is so much better then the pictures !! Our Family/Grandchildren had a Wonderful time in the Pool and the Jacuzzi is very much a Great Perk !

Has great potential

My son and I stayed for 4 days in May. The home is very large, great views, and furnished with basic necessities. We were not made aware that the pool and hot tub would be closed, and the new grill was still sitting in the box and not installed. Some of the main reasons for renting such a beautiful property is the grill, the pool, and the hot tub. My personal issue with the house is that there are alot of stairs and no handrails outside or inside. I don't recommend this for anyone with mobility issues. Great house for very large families and those who have all their own beach/water equipment/toys. Stunning views of sunrise and sunset. Gorgeous walkable neighborhood. This house could be great with some safety rails, a pair of bikes or kayaks, and an interior designer to give it some charm and character.

Wonderful Stay at Sunrise Shore

Our family had a wonderful stay at Sunrise Shore. The house had a great location with beautiful views. The kitchen was well appointed and met all of needs. Our children really enjoyed the hot tub. There was plenty of room for our family of five. We hope to return someday soon!

Perfect House for a Group

We had my bachelorette party at this property and it was PERFECT. The views and location are unbeatable and the hot tub, pool, and easy water access provided endless hours of fun. We also appreciated the multitude of beds and cots available as well as the plentiful sheets, towels, and bedding. The communication was effortless and easy and the team was very responsive to our needs. They even opened the pool earlier than their typical schedule. NOTE: if you're renting this in the spring or fall, check their pool schedule. We didn't realize they didn't usually open the pool until the following week. Thank you for an awesome weekend!

Beautiful!

We stayed for the Thanksgiving weekend - the house is beautiful, clean, and spacious! The views are spectacular. We loved the beach; we enjoyed watching the annual lighting of the Christmas tree on Main Street; and enjoyed visiting the Wallops Island Visitor Center.

Short trip but so much fun.

We enjoyed the space, many beds, windows nice size kitchen, large family area and hot tub. With all the beds it would have been nice to have one more full bathroom upstairs but we made it work. It was quiet and very enjoyable. We did have an ant problem but other than that the house and location was nice for our ladies weekend.

Great house but needs some love

The house itself was awesome and accommodated our party of 14 comfortably. However, it was very obvious throughout the home that it has not been well taken care of by the owner. Paint is chipping everywhere and the bathtub leaks a lot during use. The location is gorgeous and made it worth while, but the quality of the home should match the price being charged. Regardless, we had a great time during our winter stay and really enjoyed the hot tub.

Amazing stay for a Sweet 16

I took my daugther, her 5 friends, and my sister-in-law on this girl's trip. The open very large kitchen and living room was amazing to gather and hang out. We could have easily fit 10 more people. The place is huge! We loved the windows and the view of the water. It was idyllic. It is probably even better when you can use the pool and outside area. I expected it to be cool or drafty with the high ceilings, but it was not in the least. I would recommend for large groups.

Relaxing weeklong getaway

I booked this place for me and a handful of my friends and family to round out our summer. We had a great time at the house. Having the bay, hot tub, and the pool within footsteps of each other was a blessing. We took the short drive to the beach a few days and had an amazing time eating and drinking in town. This is easily the nicest house in the area and certainly lives up to the photos and reviews. Everything was amazing except for the things out of our control, like the mosquitos and flies. Make sure you bring bug spray and fly traps when you come, you'll need it. Overall I would rent this house again in the future. We had such a memorable time.

Interesting House

So I want to start by telling the positives. Location is great, it’s a nice house, love the hot tub and pool, very spacious. Love all the big windows in kitchen living room. The negatives are someone should really put blind up in some of the rooms. Depending on what room your in you can see directly into someone else room in the house or a bathroom. We had some electrical issues with the lights in the lower hall bathroom and upper bathroom, ac in master bedroom stopped working, the beds in each bedroom needs to be replaced. There are huge dips in mattress and the master bed slates kept falling making the bed fall. There was no broom or mop for any type of clean ups, no paper towels or toilet paper or trash bags. There are visible signs of water leaks with peeling paint on wall or around windows. Lastly, the issue with the sewer going into the drive way should be fixed. It is awful and the smell is bad morning when laying at the pool. Over all, we had a great time and it’s a beautiful house. Just needs to have all items fixed.

Pretty architecture, great pool and hot tub

Easy check in and out. House was large and had pretty views. Town 5-10 min drive and beach (national park) was a 15 minute drive. We were only there 2 nights but enjoyed ourselves !

Has potential but won’t return

This house is beautiful and can be a great rental spot, but we had several issues. Before booking, we asked if the maintenance issues stated in the comments had been resolved & were assured that they were - but upon arrival, not one of the issues had been fixed (master bed, sliding door, plumbing/septic). The pipes gurgling was one thing, but the pool of water/waste in the driveway was disturbing, and I’m sure worse in the warmer weather. If we had been able to grill, this smell would have really bothered us - but there were 2 empty propane tanks so we weren’t able to use the grill. This was a big disappointment, as we weren’t going to restaurants (Covid) so we brought food to cook each night. Steaks in the oven just aren’t the same. We called with several requests for maintenance, including this, but were never brought gas. Remnants from the guests before us were there our whole stay: all of the used linens were thrown into the hot water heater room/hallway, and the trash outside was never taken to the street, so it was overflowing when we arrived. When maintenance came to fix the master shower (not working when we arrived), they took the trash, so that was good. This house is beautiful, has amazing views for sunsets and of the water during the day, but they could put a little more love into getting it ready for guests; especially with the late check-in and early check-out times, they should have plenty of time to check the place before new renters arrive.

Great property close to natural attractions

This house was amazing! Lots of room to have private relaxation even though the house could fit an army. Close to the nature reserve but with enough amenities that we had just as much fun on rainy days.

Amazing Views of the Eastern Shore

Obtaining the rental was pretty simple and the property views were AMAZING. Checking into the property difficult due to having to pick up keys (digital locks would be a help) and gaining entry into a pitch black house. There were no lights left on in or outside of the property. The master bedroom king bed slats were not installed approximately so we had to call for repairs. Also the plumbing girggled and sewage odor was noticeable when sitting outside on the deck. It has been three weeks and our deposit has not been released back to my credit card. I am an Eastern Shore native and have never experienced views that I enjoyed at Deep Hole! I was able to see the sunrise and the moon set at the same time. My family enjoyed the space inside and plan to return in the warmer months to enjoy the pool and crabbing from the waters edge. Hopefully repairs will be done before we return in the spring.
