“Our party was three couples (and a dog) meeting up from three different locations and so in three separate vehicles. There was (safe) parking for five or six vehicles! Three comfortable double rooms and two bathrooms gave us everything we needed for a really comfortable weekend. If anything I would say that the pictures don’t really do it Justice. I mean, it looks nice in the pictures but it’s actually even nicer. Some places we looked at said that they accommodated 6 but had a dining table……

“Great little cottage in Chipping Norton. Freddie’s place is exactly as pictured—clean, well organized, and in the perfect location. Freddie was very responsive and shared some great local recommendations as well. One of them was to get a sausage roll at the Cotswold Guy, which we hadn’t come across in our own research. My husband said it was the best sausage roll he’s ever had!”

“We loved staying in beautiful Patience cottage. It has a lovely spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower, a well equipped modern kitchen and a very comfortable bed in a gorgeous bedroom. It's a short walk from The Hare, where we had a lovely meal and just across from the village green. We visited Bourton on the Water (highly recommended), although at weekends it will probably get very crowded. We stayed midweek and missed all the crowds. Burford and Bibury are also well worth a visit. I……

“Lovely little cottage, a home from home. So clean and thought out, even down to a pint of milk in the fridge to enjoy a cup of tea! Host has thought of everything you could need, kitchen basics including washing up liquid, cooking oil, tea/coffee/suager, even shower gel. A great base to enjoy the Cotswolds or just the local area. You need a car as it’s in a quiet village. There is a pub next door which was recommended but wasn’t open when we stayed but there’s plenty of other options for food,……

“Overall the accommodation was great and we would 100% recommend this property to one and all.However, for those with a dog wishing to book this property beware, there is no walking from the accommodation other than a small field adjacent which the farmer is happy for you to use for early morning relief!The owner needs to read the guestbook as a number of minor issues have been highlighted, but never rectified for example the lack of coat hanging in the entrance hall where two very suitable……
