There was a recent ownership transition and check in was through a phone call. We booked another unit originally with welcome gift and that was changed and we only found out after checking in. The new owner called and apologised and promised some compensation but never heard again. There was no instruction on WiFi...

「The lakeside cabin faces the man made lake. It is very secluded, old classic style and very nice. The spa is very good. We met the owners to get the keys for checkin and it was a good chat. Enjoyed the stay」

「The house was beautifully presented with furniture and fixtures in tune with the historic nature of the building.The house was warm and comfortable, spacious though well proportioned and very easy to make ourselves at home in. The back yard was securely fenced for the pet and an easy waliking distance to town facilities and the beach and including a fine view of the Nut.」

「We wanted to visit the Tarkine and this proved the perfect base. Spacious and cosy with easy to operate wood fire, good kitchen with full size fridge.Lots of thoughtful touches made this a very pleasant stay.」

「Generally, very good. To improve, it will be good to provide instruction on how to deal with rubbish bins. Also, there is problem to communicate with host as this is a non-wotif property and host message to me through the managing agent (website) is lost. I have to contact the host direct to found out they actually gave me messages. 」

「Ours is a return visit to Mount View. We wanted to come back for a longer stay. The house and its location are superb. We enjoyed the peacefulness and remoteness of the landscape and the home is 11 out of 10. It is full of generosity, quality and thoughtfulness from the design to all the appliances and provisions that make your stay easy and enjoyable. 「Uninterrupted views of the ocean. Loved the barrel fire pot on the veranda. Didn't need it, but just lovely to be out there. Great place for an extended family to hang out, beachcombing, fishing or just sitting with a wine and a good book.
