“Read some negative comments from various hotels booking website, have struggled to book it or not, but there are not really many hotels / ryokans in Onomichi. Anyway, the reality is, starting from the check in till check out, we are very satisfied and amazed. We need to give it a fair comment to support the staff there. The hotel is just by the seaside, thus we enjoyed wide ocean view from our rooms. It is over 100 years history, surely it will look old, but it is full of retro and……

“Conveniently located to major tourist sights, bars and restaurant. Offers a great way to explore on food. They have a nice roof top bar that offers a good view across the city. Also good vibes”

“Good，especially the breakfast. There are so many kinds of food to choose, but the coffee is a disaster.”

“It was a fine stay. The room was cool with the projector for viewing and we loved the souvenir machine. We slept comfortably and the hotel was quiet. The room was fairly clean and water pressure was great for the shower. Free bottles of water in the room was nice as well. However the cafe closed early, the ice cream machine wasn't working and the rooftop bar was closed. The property had dust bunnies throughout and staff was sparse which made it feel a bit like a ghost town. ”

“Very clean hotel, affordable, lots of amazing amenities and you can choose all sorts of shampoo's, conditioner and body washes. They had an ac and air purifier in the room along with a water dispenser. I do think it's a smoking room but I couldn't smell much smoke so it was perfectly fine. I enjoyed and would 100% stay again for the cost. The one downside is the parking is difficult and you absolutely have to be comfortable parking backwards and in a small area. Otherwise no complaints”
