“This is a lovely hotel with great views and is also dog-friendly (which is why we originally chose it). The standout element has to be the service — Leah and the whole team are incredibly welcoming and put in next-level effort to ensure we had the best stay. If you’re not staying at the hotel but in the area, the new bar is super recommended! There are some lovely pubs but it’s definitely going to be a top spot. We’ll be back this summer for sure now. “We had an excellent week in Garden Cottage,the location was perfect.The grounds and surrounding woodland provided our dog with the perfect playground.Really comfortable cottage,isolated but with excellent WiFi,Smart TV etc.The only slight criticism is the cooking utensils could do with a bit of an upgrade.However this didn’t spoil what was a brilliant holiday. “We absolutely loved our stay here, the cottage is old and many would say requires modernisation but we felt it all added to its character and charm. The beds were comfy as were the sofas and the kitchen was fully supplied with everything you could need. The grounds were fantastic and we had many games of football, rounders and hide and seek with a group of 4 children under 10. We spent every evening outdoors and made the most of the hot tub and the bbq. The views from the garden are also……
