“The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book a hotel. I also tried to contact the property as advised by Sykes cottages, but my calls were unanswered and not returned. Overall a disappointing stay. There are plenty of better rentals available.”

“We felt spoilt , as when asked by the lovely lady, greeting us as we entered the hotel, she asked were we celebrating anything and we said our 45th wedding anniversary. WoW a complimentary drink to start and really attentive staff when we were having our meal The meal was fantastic too :) ”

“Lovely country atmosphere. Clean spacious room with good amenities. Comfy bed and pillows. Easy check-in. Short drive to neighbouring town and supermarket. ”

“Clean and tidy overall. Staff are attentive and professional. However, rooms facing the carpark were noisy overnight. I need asking for changing my room to the other side of the hotel.”
