“This is my second time in one of Orion Holidays properties. I visited with my son and three very young grandchildren. I love the views from the houses overlooking a pond or lake where there is lots of wildlife to observe. I like the green spaces between houses and it was very dog friendly when I brought my dog on the first visit. We had the indoor swimming pool included in our deal but unfortunately it was closed on the first day so we only managed to use it once. We went to the outdoor pool……

“We had such a lovely stay at Mill Village 71/72, Milly Cottage with Orion Holidays. This was our 5th visit to Lower Mill Estate, but our first time staying in Milly Cottage — and it definitely did not disappoint! We stayed as a group of 3 families with children aged 6–9, and the layout of the cottage was absolutely perfect for a larger group. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax and socialise together, while still feeling comfortable and homely. The cottage was beautifully……

“We stayed for a mid week break in June 2025's heatwave. It was lovely to be next to the lake in the heat. There were lakes where we could paddle to cool down and let the dog walk in (on lead). The property was properly dog friendly with throws on the settees expecting dogs to climb up and no area of the house out of bounds for the dog. There are many walks around the estate (which is a nature reserve) and also on the Thames path for the dog as well as the humans. The spa membership was……

“We stayed here for a weekend as a group of friends and it was absolutely perfect. The lake setting is so beautiful and the house itself was comfortable, beautifully decorated and well equipped with everything we needed. We loved spending time in the hot tub, relaxing in the huge kitchen and playing games in the living room, and there are lots of lovely walks from the house to places to eat around the local lakes. Can’t recommend the house highly enough- we can’t wait to come back!”

“Fabulous break with a large family group over two’s properties. The outlook was lovely and the sunrises spectacular over the lake. The house was equiped with everything you could need and the amenities around the site were ample, including pub/cafe/ outdoor pool/ play area. Would definitely return. The only downside was others taking your allocated parking space.”

“From the moment we stepped through the door , everything was so welcoming . It was a lovely touch that the house had been decorated for christmas . Everything was spotless and there was everything we needed for or stay and more . The only thing we didnt use was the hot tub as it was a bit cold and we were kept busy with other activities”

“This was our second stay on the Lower Mill site. It still proves to be a lovely location. Indian Summer exceeded our expectations. Although the photos suggest it has been "squeezed in" between other properties, there is no sense of this once inside. It is spacious, with lovely views. I suspect that in summer , it will be lovely to sit outside. The property provided an ideal base for a week's worth of walks in the Cotswolds. And it was (almost) a pleasure to run along the Thames each morning……

“I’ve just returned from another delightful break at Mill Village with my big kids and grandchildren. We drive from Brighton every year!) Damsel Cottage has everything we need regardless of age. I never tire of the beautiful lakeside views and walks, whilst the youngsters love the heated swimming pool, cycling and taking the kayaks out. It’s completely safe for them both cycling around the estate and there are lots of pretty Cotswolds towns and other venues to visit nearby. We also very much……
