“My family and I enjoyed this great home over July 4 weekend. The property was wonderful to view from the large deck, whether it was coffee in the morning or a cocktail in the evening. The kitchen was well-equipped and we all enjoyed the board games, cards, and game room in the basement, where we held multiple shuffleboard tournaments on a rainy day.The location was great too; we explored surrounding towns, hiked Kaaterskill Falls, and mountain-biked the nearby Belleayre Mountain trail……

“This was our second stay at this house. For being a somewhat smaller house, it has all your need for a ski weekend. Our family of 6 did just fine with sleeping arrangements and amenities to cook meals and just relax. It’s so close to the hunter downtown area and ski area. Very convenient. ”

“Nice living and dining space. Plenty of room to spread out. with 3 bedrooms up and 2 down you can. A few of the outlets are not currently working and there may be a yellowjacket nest that needs to be dealt with near the back deck. Outside of that I would rent it again ”

This cottage was the perfect balance, providing us the freshness of the creekside and all its wild greenery, some bugginess, and a clean place to rest that wasn’t overly sterile and bland. In fact, I found the furnishings to be very thoughtful, simple and pleasing; the kitchen and bathroom were well, but not overly, stocked; there was no clutter or worry that my small dog could get into anything he shouldn’t. “We enjoyed our stay very much. The deck was a great place to relax. Very serene. I would love to go back in the fall! The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc. The master bedroom is amazing, with its own deck and large bathroom/dressing area. ”

“Nice home with lovely living room and a wood-burning stove. Had planned to spend most of our time flyfishing at nearby Beaverkill River. But, alas fishing conditions were aweful because of the draught. So, we hiked and had a chance to enjoy the house and itts property. and and its property. ”

“This comfortable, cozy, 4 BR home is nicely tucked into the woods. Plenty of space to spread out for adults and kids, with a finished basement. Outside there is a fire pit, and jacuzzi/hot tub. House is well stocked for cooking supplies and tools, and quiet at night. Close to Livingston Manor Main Street (7min), Roscoe Main Street (10min) and only 1/2 mile away from Arnold House. Host was super responsive and a pleasure to work with. Would love to come back !”
