This property is 2 hours north of Sacramento and 2 1/2 from the Bay Area. It is located 1/2 mile Knocti Casino and Marina; 1/2 mile to the nearest wine tasting and 2 miles to the Drive-In cinema.

This detached house in a quiet neighborhood and will sleep 7 in (2) Kings, Queen plus a single day bed.

The remodeled house boasts bamboo and tile floors. A fully functional kitchen with a new fridge, dishwasher, micro hood and stove. There are split systems in each room which provide heat and AC.

Exposed wood ceilings in the 2 larger bedrooms and living room. Plenty of parking for 2 boats/trailers, cars and trucks. Bring your kayak, jet ski and water toys.

The backyard patio is great for sunning and has BBQ, table, chairs and lounge chairs. The yard is fully fenced.
The dock will hold a 20’boat or jet ski’s of equivalent size. There is electricity available if you bring 100’ extension cords.

Our back and front yards enjoy frequent visits from an abundance of local wild life--including various species of ducks, herons, grebes, geese, pelicans, a pair of white swans, red-tailed hawks, osprey and turtles, river otters and more.

House Rules:
1. 25 or older for all adults unless with parent or guardian. All humans and dogs must be included in the reservation. Base price is for 2 people.
2. Photo ID OF ALL ADULTS over 18 required for age verification.
3. No visitors are allowed on the property unless a part of the reservation. No BBQ, dinner, hanging out, etc. Penalties apply and your reservation will be immediately terminated. You may add them to your reservation for $30 per person/night if I am notified prior to the start of your reservation and $100/person if you add them later.
4. Non smokers. No smoking/vaping/pot allowed inside and outside. Your reservation will be cancelled.
5. There are external security cameras on this property that record sound and motion.
6. Please no tackle boxes on the wood floors or counters and do not use the garbage disposal, sinks or garbage for fish guts. It attracts rodents. 7. This is the country and is full of critters. We employ professional exterminators, yard guys and cleaners. However, you may see bugs and or mice during your stay. If that will ruin your vacation, please book elsewhere.

Yearly Visit

We have stayed here for the past several years for a fishing tournament. This house has gotten better over the years. The owners are doing a great job keeping the place clean and comfortable.

Owner difficult to work with

The outside had cobwebs and dirt all over. The dock was not accessible. The inside vent was broken and a piece hanging down. There were ants all over the kitchen. Paint was peeling off in one of the rooms. The owner Lucia was in Italy and was angry when we called the office. There was no area to upload the drivers license of the individuals staying in the house. Tito gave me an email and told me to send them there. Lucia was complaining to me in text that I should not have talked to Tito because he was the part time maintenance guy. Tito was helpful and gave me information. I had no idea he was the maintenance man. Lucia threatened to cancel the reservation and charge us the money if he didn't get the ID's right away. I told him they were already sent. I ended up sending them again by text to him and he was angry about that. An owner should not treat his guests this way and if he is out of the country he should have someone there to take care of the property and help the guests.

Very Nice Place

Let me say at the start...I am a very difficult to plz traveler. I tend to stay in high in hotels and since I am in a service industry myself...I like stellar service. U can say it, yes I'm a spoiled punk. Now that is out of the way, This is my first VRBO stay. The house is close to everything (if ur fishing), and is large and spacious. No it isn't the 4 Seasons but everything was clean, well maintained, and comfy. I prefer to have a better system to contact the owner besides email and through VRBO but that has nothing to do with the home. The owner was very responsive and very accommodating. If ur looking for a comfortable stay, close to everything for fishing, spacious, well maintained, in a quiet neighborhood...This place is it.

Great Stay for a Tournament Weekend

My friend and I stayed in this home when we were visiting Clearlake for a bass tournament. Great location near multiple boat launches and the dock makes it super easy to maximize your time fishing. There is also plenty of parking for a boat and vehicles. Beds were very comfortable and the home was clean.

Great house on the canal

We had a great stay at this property. Having the dock right there on the canal was fantastic and so nice to be able to keep the boat there our whole stay. Beds are really comfy and the house is nice with plenty of parking.

Place just gets better and better

This was our second time staying at this property and the owners have defiantly worked hard on their home. From the first time we stayed to this time they have done alot of work on the property. It was a nice stay.

The property was clean and well maintained. Backyard grass could use a little watering but still was nice. Visiting could have been more flexible but I understand that they don’t want to disturb the neighbors, but that is a case by case situation. Other than that my family enjoyed themselves and the owners were accommodating.

Disappointing

House not clean as should be or stated. Mice feces in kitchen draws along with chewed condiments packages. Steps leading outside are loose bricks that is dangerous. Doubt up to code. Pans old and dirty, floors not clean, yards not maintained as stated. Personal items in all draws like someone is living there, toasted not cleaned. Rug in living room with a love seat not sofa was frayed and dirty. BBQ Not useable due do to being so filthy. That’s just a few concerns, photos to substantiate. With that said the actual house set up is nice. Perfect if you have a pet minus the harmful weeds. All appliances top notch. With a better cleaning practice this would be a fabulous stay. Unfortunately there are hundreds of fly - purchased a flyswatter. Having to park in carport next to old boat was tight. If lake every comes back to a higher point and less stinky algae I would recommend

Some disappointments

When we arrived the house had not been cleaned or the linens changed. Thankfully the owners did get someone to come that evening and clean and change the linens. They also gave back the cleaning charges. Some parts of the house were just like the pictures and some parts were not. The kitchen and bedroom were but the front room and outside area were a disappointment. Stepping outside into the back yard was dangerous because there was not steps. The nice table, chairs and umbrella on the patio were gone and a picnic table in their place. The lawn and bushes had not been taken care of. Eventually the lawn was mowed and the front bushes next to the driveway were done. The gardeners were very polite but maybe they need to be doing more. It wasn't the owners fault but the canal was very bad because the lake was down. The street is poorly maintained. We feel the price we paid was too high for what we received. I'm sure the owners are nice people and doing their best, but in some areas there needs to be improvement. We did have a restful vacation. We had many meals in the surrounding area and were very please.

Nice house, great location, and wonderful owner

I made a big mistake when booking the house but the owner was extremely helpful and understanding. I'm too embarrassed to add much detail but I will say the owner went beyond what I expected to fix it. The house was very clean with a nice backyard. The location is great--downtown is close and the casino is even closer. I would stay here again.

Pleasantly Surprised

Was very happy being able to find such a nice place to stay last minute. Our other reservations fell through. House is very nice, owner was there when we arrived and was very nice and helpful. A little disappointed the dock and deck were not usable, but completely understand it was just ruined during the recent floods. We love fishing on the lake and may be back soon!

Must stay!

We love this house! The house is clean and provided with everything you need! Just a few quick steps and your fishing on the lake and never having to leave the backyard.. Kids can play in the front and not worry since the main road is quite and calm.. If you love wild life you’ll get a variety between the lake otters to the pelicans,ducks and more! Everyone had enough space through out the house not feeling like we were on top of each other.. if you like to be in town but out of town this is the best place to stay.. Some days we never wanted to leave... Thank you Lucia for everything!

Nice place for a vacation.

My family and I had a nice stay at this rental. We brought our boat and kayaks that we could just tie up to the dock. The house was clean and perfect size for our family of four. It was nice for everyone to be off tv and phones for the week.

Our stay at the house was not a bad experience, however the front door wouldn't lock without some brute force to line up the lock, the bathroom was full of spiders as well as the outside of both doors. The no a.c. was hard during the day it was pretty hot in there, and as long as you don't want to watch tv or try to stream off your own device you will be happy staying there.
