「A gem of a cottage which had been restored to a really high standard. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, log burner with plenty of wood and loved all the decor/pictures throughout. A welcome basket with local goodies was also a nice touch. We loved the folder full of the history on the property and all the pictures of the other houses/buildings in the village which we went to find on our walks with our dog. Would highly recommend. 」

「Easy access and very bright clean and airy. It has everything you need and is lovely and quiet. Good outdoor space too with access to Queens Park boating lake. Bedrooms were both great but, if you struggle with mobility, the upstairs room might not be for you( very steep stairs!). The room and bed are amazing though! The fireplace is a stunner which wouldnt look out of place in a much larger property. Overall, this is a cracking little place to stay, less than five minutes from the beach and not...

「The lodge was excellent, very spacious and comfortable. Barbara and Luke were excellent hosts. Fished the small lake as Luke said it was rarely fished. Caught bream up to 6lb on luncheon meat. Enjoyed some nice walks in the area.」

「Nice quiet location, although being on a farm there was a small amount of work related activaty at times which did not spoil our stay. The furnature and equipment was the best we have seen in the numerous property,s we have stayed in. Friendly and helpful owners. Highly recommended for a restful holiday.」

「Very helpful and friendly owners, great location for visiting our new granddaughter. 2 mins walk to lovely Pearsons park. Some lovely welcoming items, lots of fresh fruit, bread, butter, milk and cake all vegan as owners are, a couple of things i would suggest is maybe a door curtain could be put in place as there was no privacy going from the bathroom across the kitchen to the bedroom also there was no smoke alarm present. All in all a nice stay 👍 」
