Convenient for holiday visits

Stayed here for a long Thanksgiving weekend visiting family. The house is a classic 50s/60s Cape Cod near the center of Berea. The game theme is fun and there are games for a variety of ages. We indulged in a couple while visiting. The biggest drawback is that the house is on a 4 lane road (but near a traffic light) so backing out requires some patience. Still, with the home's proximity to family we'll keep it on our list for the future.

Could have been better

Pros: the kitchen and bathrooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. Location was great, even though it's on a busy road. Communication was quick. House was fun for kids. Cons: filthy under the couch and found multiple loose medication capsules under the couch. (We dropped a puzzle piece and had to look under the couch for it) The smell was pretty bad in the house, and then tried to cover the smell with an air freshener which made it worse. Smelled like urine and we pin pointed it to the couch. The owners offered to have the couch removed, but we were leaving the next day, so it seemed pointless. Opening windows and unplugging the air freshner helped. No other compensation was offered, just a thank you and that they would let the cleaning company know. The kids loved it, the adults not so much. It definitely has potential!
