Excellent home, exceptionally clean, and Patrick and Brooke were very accommodating hosts. Easy check in process, great location (adjacent park on Lake Erie is really nice). Would stay here again without hesitation!

Clean and comfortable

We enjoyed this home very much. Patrick was a very attentive host and responsive to messages. We enjoyed the house’s proximity to Lake Erie. The house had very nice kitchen, bathroom, and laundry facilities. We will definitely come back!

Wonderful Place to Stay

We had a wonderful stay at The Front House. The host was very responsive and even provided some basic items for breakfast which were greatly appreciated. The house was immaculate – well stocked kitchen, washer/dryer access, comfy beds and plenty of room. The location was down the street from Lakeview Park where we saw some beautiful sunsets. I would definitely stay here again.

Thanksgiving 2024

We celebrated Thanksgiving with my Mom who lives in Assisted Living in Avon Lake. The house suited us perfectly. The host provided some breakfast items which was very thoughtful. The kitchen was well stocked. The house was very clean and everything looked new.

white fluffy towels, good beds, clean and clutter free house. great kitchen, great spaces in the house to retreat to, or come together in. Even the 2 porch areas were very nice. easy/Great walk to the beach. Appreciated the very responsive host. easy to lock up and get in via code. quiet neighborhood.

We had the most relaxing time at this home. The beds were all super comfortable! Also, the shower never got cold even after 3 very long showers. We loved that, especially with a bigger group. A great stay at the Front House!

We were in town for the birthday celebration of two family members. We had a small group aged 14 to 86 in the house and the house was perfect for everyone. Patrick and Brooke did some shopping for us to make our arrival more inviting and we found the house very much a home for a long weekend. Thoroughly pleased!

Probably the best Vrbo we’ve experienced. House was exactly as presented and host was amazing and available. Lake view and within walking distance to Lakeview Park. Even greeted each morning by 2 eagles in the tree across the street while having morning coffee on the front porch. We will definitely contact this host in the future when traveling to the area visiting family.

Memorable Retreat Away from a Home

Patrick and Morgan went out of their way to make us feel at home for our 1st Anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised to discover all the beautiful perks staying here brought us and that the home was as updated and as comfortable as it was. There is plenty to do in and around the area, as there was a nearby park and beach access. If you get the pleasure of meeting the rentees, you'll see just how special this place and family is! Otherwise, a walk along the mile long pier, the sunsets/rises, and delicious restaurants will more than keep you busy. If that's not enough, Cleveland is a mere 45 (ish) mins away! Overall, we cannot positively express enough how wonderful this experience was and although the renters didn't know this was our redemption honeymoon, they sure did help replace a such negative time/memory with a truly amazing and unforgettable trip!

Super place to stay

The front house is a spacious and really well appointed property and we had a lovely stay here. Everything was perfect from communication, comfort, through to the extra little touches such as a cake for the solar eclipse etc. Location across from the lake and near the park/beach is really nice.

Thanksgiving holiday stay
