The lack of a driveway/off street parking was problematic when we returned in the evening and the on street spaces were apparently taken by patrons of nearby restaurants and bars.

The neighborhood is calm and quiet, but it's easy to access the nearby night life if you want. Really neat building. There was some minor damage in a couple of places but nothing that caused any issues. Would definitely stay here again!

The house was convenient in terms of location. We just needed a place to crash after a concert. In the future if we need something for multiple nights, we probably would stay elsewhere. The house window A/C units didn't cool the whole house so it was a bit warm. Also, when we arrived we threw our groceries in the fridge before heading out. When we returned late that night, all of our food was warm. The fridge was set to zero. This was frustrating. After reaching out to the owner, they said they've never had a problem before and to just turn it up. It didn't matter at that point because our groceries were ruined. All together it was an okay stay and we appreciated somewhere to crash.

We weren’t happy with the property and left quickly after other people appeared who also booked the property. Host was not professional.

Parking issues

Kuchen and bathroom need an update. Parking can be a problem, four out of weight nights I could not park anywhere near the property and was threatened with being towed. Otherwise it was a nice stay.

Not Accurate Listing - Not Good Area

We did not appreciate the inaccuracy of this VRBO listing. This place is not in a “hip” area. There’s no driveway and the lawn looked as if it hadn’t been mowed in weeks. The posting says it sleeps 8, but there are only five forks to share. The grill was completely rusted. The bathroom was NOT clean. The towels were stained and the water was tinted red from the rusting pipes. I would not recommend staying here.

Convenient location

This was a convenient place to stay for our overnight trip, since it was close to the waterfront and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. We were comfortable and found the side street to be quiet at night giving way to lots of chirping birds in the morning. We both agreed it reminded us of our own grandmothers’ home. Very eclectic, good directions and reminders of how to use the space when we were done.

Great Stay in Beautiful Cleveland

We loved the convenient location. We were an easy drive to downtown and other areas. It was very walkable to the lakeside, grocery stores, restaurants and bars.

Lakewood getaway

Good the sour

The place was adequate, however, on bed was missing baseboards and my husband and I had a terrible time sleeping the first night. The 2nd bedroom we tried had no ceiling fan and it was lumpy and so we moved onto the third bed that was better than the others. We were then told we were being charged to clean the beds we used. All of them. This puzzled us as you’re supposed to clean them anyway even if it looked like nobody used them. Would I stay in this place again? Probably not since the host was not happy with our feedback. Overall, however, our stay in town was enjoyable.

Cute Historic Get Away

Perfect for a small reunion with several high school friends. House was clean and great for our needs. Had fantastic old Cleveland charm. After a small snafu with entry to the apartment (cold Cleveland days make for sticky locks, no fault of owner) we were all set. Owner even offered late check out for our troubles. House was cozy and toasty on a cold winter night!

This property needs attention before it will really be welcoming to guests

Please review previous renters comments. Most are accurate. We gave the host the benefit of the doubt when booking. While the property management team and especially the cleaning staff were kind and responsive, this property did not meet even average Vrbo standards. There are significant repairs to the porch railing, indoor bedroom doors and basic accommodations like the bathtub and closets that should be done before future bookings. It is a one-floor unit of a small two-story home. The parking was not available in front of the home at night. We walked a significant distance to park each time we left the unit. There are not enough chairs, space at kitchen table or dishes and flatware to accommodate the six adults who stayed there in our party. The bathroom would be difficult to enter for a larger adult. We used the wi-fi successfully. We did enjoy a pleasant walk to the lake's edge. We found a lovely coffee shop. We were able to attend a friend's wedding. These were important. It has the potential to be a quaint mid-century experience, but it is not there yet.

Complete let down

The beds were so uncomfortable we weren’t even able to sleep in them. The door to my bed room literally fell off the hinges. They claim it’s a smart tv but no apps would work. We left after one night.
