Opened on May 1st 1891 with Cy Young on the mound, Cleveland's League Park was off to a great start. 290 feet down the first base line and over a wall taller than Boston's Green Monster, Babe Ruth hit his 500th home run on August 11th 1929. The original wooden ticket office and stands are gone. The corner building and a lone wall remain from the second iteration of brick. The major leaguers may have moved downtown, but this field still boosts some pretty important baseball.

Great History about about the Cleveland Indians. It has a beautiful field and a historical center. Make sure to call before heading out as the hours of operation is limited.
