「I would give this place a 3/10 due to the obvious neglect both inside and outside - cabin looks nice initially until you walk around and grass is overgrown- Inside can be summed up in 1 word -Filth !!!!! 「Had a wonderful stay at this cabin. Host was responsive, check in was a breeze. Cabin was clean and stocked with everything you need. Views are amazing from the house/porch. The yard is so tranquil. My husband and I and our 2 dogs had a fantastic time. I really enjoyed the pamphlet section lots of information on fishing, kayaking, hiking in the ADK region. Thank you for a 10/10 stay!」

「Our car club had four Miatas (two couples, two singles) and we all LOVED the cabin! The location was perfect - quiet but convenient to Lake Placid and Whiteface. With warm days and cool nights. we appreciated the HVAC splits in each space, and the propane stove in the main living area. We loved the fire pit, and having a washer and dryer in the basement.
The entrance from Route 73 is fine for SUVs and light trucks, and even our sports cars managed with some careful driving on Nordic. Penny...

「The interior was beautiful, the hot tub was fantastic. Ideal spot location wise and the bed was so comfy! Only thing is I wish the outhouse was a bit cleaner. There was a giant spider and its web in the toilet so that was a bit freaky!」

「The property and house were excellent. Very clean and right on the water. We enjoyed the provided kayaks.One suggestion would be to state in the description and directions that the cabin is called “Skylight”. The directions we received stated the address as number 6, which was very hard to find in the dark with other houses on either side of it.Otherwise, we really enjoyed it.」
