While it’s clear that the gentlemen that own and operate the property are trying, it’s more of a truck stop vibe. The room was adequate, but not a place I’d go back to.

I thought I was going to a more upscale property. The rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable. The light in the bathroom began to flicker and came back on the next morning. The phone did not work at all. I had to walk to the front office to tell about the light. I guess you get what you pay for. I will do a better job at looking for a better property.

Worse place, not worth what you pay, an extremely dirty place, the power went out from 1:00 am to 10:00 am with the terrible cold, stinky and dirty sheets, the bathroom full of mold‼️‼️‼️ NEVER AGAIN

Only 2 hotels in Clinton and the other way booked. Service was very good but rooms are musty and the beds are very off the shelf firm. TV was so old , 2005 called and asked it to be returned. Rate is about 40% over what it should be

The room smelled like an old cigarette. The television didn’t work. And we were woken by someone beating on our door. We left the property after a couple hours because it was terrible.

It was obvious that the room hadn’t been used in a while due to the spiderwebs on the desk and in the bathroom. The door was not fitted to the doorway properly which allowed the “beetles” into the room which one greeted us as we opened the door- it was stuck in one of the webs on the desk. The bathroom had visible water damage and over 7 dead mosquitoes on the ceiling. The railing in the shower was broken with water mold in the crevices. Will not be staying here again. Do not recommend.

Nasty rooms

The room was nasty. Burn holes in the bed spread looked like poop stains on the pillow cases and the room was supise to be non smoking but smelled like someone smoked a carton of cigarettes and a pound of Marijuana. We had to air the room out for an hr just to sleep. Water leaking from celling . They had more monwynin cameras than they did in the rooms itself. Going to report to the county health department Monday

Horrible!!! The sheets were dirty we slept on top of bed with the clothes we had on. We got in late and had to sleep so we decided to stay just to get a few zzzz. The only outlet in bathroom area was painted over and only one out let was accessible and it didn’t work but couldn’t reset outlet cause it was painted over. The tub had mold in it and the place smelled. Never ever again will we stay at this chain. I can’t believe they rent out rooms like this. Oh and the shower curtain was so short it didn’t even stay in the tub when your showering so water goes everywhere. What a waist of my hard earned money!

Don't stay here! Musty smell. Heater/air rattles all night long. Needs basic maintenance. Melted candle wax on the table. No water pressure in the shower. Must flush twice in order to go down. Only 1 sheet & 1 very thin bed cover provided. No blanket. Very small TV. Located far back from main road, kinda scary. Few guests both nights...I can see why. No ice machine, snack, or drinks available from vending machines. All were out of operation, unplugged. Few choices for lodging in this small town. I'd ride to the next town, next time! Tried to cancel stay here, but unable to, due to 3rd party booking, who would not cancel either. Sheets & towels provided were clean. Refrigerator in room convenient. Front desk management were friendly.

Felt uncomfortable and sketchy, very poor lighting

I didn’t stay. Felt very unsafe. First red flag was poor outdoor lighting, many either burned out or flickering, then the check in process was handled through a small room with a makeshift glass barrier instead of entering the main lobby area, which was locked and dark. Very intimidating, looked like they were expecting a robbery. Third strike was that room doors are on the outside of the building (like a motel) I was put on the back side of the building on the second floor. Already feeling uncomfortable with the odd check set up, I pulled around to the back. There was again very poor lighting and about 10 groups of men smoking and loitering around in different areas of the hotel property. (This was about 930 at night) No matter which way I would have went to my room having to walk up a flight of steps, I would have passed several of these groups. I immediately went back to the check in room and told the woman working, that as a solo traveling woman I didn’t feel safe there and I didn’t wish to stay, They refused to refund me, but whatever, my safety is worth more than their need of my $150. Hopefully they use it to purchase lightbulbs.

The customer service was terrible. I made a reservation after trraveling long hours. When I got to the property the man at the front desk was rude and had attitude. No where when I made the reservation did it say I couldnt check in until the next day at 3pm. I wasnt able to get a refund and I never got to stay in the room.

15 minutes before checkout they were extremely rude & knocking every 2 minutes saying we had to get out immediately. We left the room at 11 then sat in the car to see what the emergency was. They didn't come clean the room for 2 more hours! All they did was get the towels & make the bed. This was the worst place we have ever stayed.

Don’t drink the water

When I turned on shower the water was black. Had lots of air coming out. It finally cleared up to take a shower. Next morning the water looked like coffee. I had to use a bottle water to brush my teeth. Manager says it happens every month. No excuses for this.

Underwhelming

When I asked to have a 1st floor was told none available!!! Many rooms empty!!!! Breakfast was in my mind going to be something I'd eat. Waffle batter had 1/2 inch in container, no butter and sugar free syrup with 1/4 in in bottle. Not to mention no napkins and any juice!
