This home was so lovely! We absolutely loved our stay and would book again in a heart beat. I gave 4 stars for cleanliness only because there seemed to be some remnants of dog/cat hair on the floors, otherwise super clean and so well appointed!

What a beautiful stay in this clean, well appointed home. Absolutely loved the house, beach and all the memories we created. I can’t think of one thing I would change. They had everything we needed. Beds and pillows were cozy. Communication was great. We stay on Whidbey every summer and this may be our new go-to home.

Gorgeous home with beautiful view

This home is gorgeous, stunning sunsets, beautiful views all around, wildlife plus a kitchen that is so well stocked with everything we needed and then some! We were on the island for 5 days for our daughter’s wedding and Ror’s & Lori’s home provided a fabulous place for the family to relax in between wedding activities. Plenty of room, comfortable beds, furniture, including deck/patio chairs and table. Wish we could have stayed longer for more R&R after the wedding but we do hope to return and when we do we won’t even consider looking at any other properties. Lovely lovely lovely home in every way!

Weekend away!

Wonderful weekend with family and friends at this beautiful home. This is the second time we’ve stayed here and it did not disappoint. Kitchen is well appointed, house is perfectly decorated and beach is right at your back door. Will be back for sure!

Our Best Whidbey Island Experience

We have stayed at numerous Whidbey Island properties over the last several years in Maxwelton, Sandy Point, Freeland, Greenbank, Coupeville, Harrison Lagoon, Penn Cove, and other locations. Hands down, this is the most amazing house we have ever stayed at. The house is incredible -- fully-stocked with everything you could possibly need, a spacious kitchen/dining room/living room area, a separate office, and three beautiful bedrooms. It is quiet and private, and the outdoor space is awesome -- covered (but sunny), with a perfect western view of the water, the Olympic mountains, and beautiful sunsets. The house itself has "soul" -- beautiful wood everywhere, fantastic art throughout the house, and genuine family touches in every room. This is not just a generic house -- it is an actual family home, and you can feel that in every room.The owners (who live locally in the Seattle area) are genuine, responsive and dedicated to taking care of everything you need.And the location is perfect -- close to Langley and Freeland (which have great restaurants, grocery stores, and even pickleball courts you can rent), and lots of beaches and parks.If you're looking for the perfect place for a family vacation, this is it.

Beautiful Beach House

This is an absolutely stunning home. The location is spectacular. We stayed over Thanksgiving, and the kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook a large meal. There were plenty of puzzles and games to keep the kids entertained, along with beach toys and beach chairs. A few things to note: there isn’t a fully enclosed portion of the yard, which the owners did state ahead of time. This wasn’t a problem for us, since our dog doesn’t wander. The stairs are also somewhat steep and just hardwood. Our dog struggled with those, and I would assume they would be difficult for someone with mobility issues. Overall, we had an amazing time and would love to visit again.

The Best Beach House!

Repeat visit. This house is just amazing. I return for the art - such a compliment to the view. My family loves it for the location, ease and amenities. This is one of the best stocked houses you’ll find. The owners obviously stay there a lot and are gracious to allow vacationers to enjoy their lovely spot and home. Thank you again!!

Whidbey Island Beach Home

I cannot say enough about how great a home this is. We had 8 family members, and we were all easily accommodated. A great location, solidly-built beach cottage vibe, wonderful kitchen and great room, and sunsets over the Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains that you have to see to believe. We will definitely book it again

Another Wonderful Stay

This was our 4th year here and I think it’s become a family tradition. Our 5 year old granddaughter is already asking when we can go back to the Adventure House. As usual it had everything we needed including 2 bikes and a canoe.

Birthday Weekend at the Beach

Absolutely beautiful sunny April weekend on Whidbey and it was made completely perfect with a wonderful and seamless stay at Ella’s Beach House. This home was immaculate, comfortable, fully stocked, and right on the water boasting a view of pristine sunsets! This home allowed the right amount of space and access to all outdoor beach activities as well as creating a cozy and warm environment for evening dinners and family time. Our daughter’s birthday weekend with friends and family was made perfect by staying at Ella’s Beach House. It is beautiful and we are looking forward to staying again!

Beautiful home & oceanfront property

Just wanted to share our recent experience at this incredible oceanfront property. Picture this: waking up to the soothing sound of waves, sipping coffee with a breathtaking view, and feeling the ocean breeze on your face – pure bliss! The custom home was cozy. If you're all about a good night's sleep, this place will not disappoint. The only "person" who loved it more than us was our golden retriever. She loved swimming in the ocean. Highly recommend for some serious relaxation and lovely long walks on the beach.

A Seaside Sanctuary!

Ror and Lori’s place is truly exceptional. The house was spotless, stocked with everything (and more) that you could imagine and the location is unbeatable. My sister and I took our Mom for her 80th Birthday. She has been extremely sick and wanted to spend some time at the beach staring at the water, watching the birds, seals, boats… one last time. This home couldn’t have been a better place to do it. The views are spectacular from the whole lower level and the primary bedroom (where our Mom stayed). Our days were filled with beach combing, walks in the neighborhood, visits to nearby Langley and Freeland, and sitting on the large deck watching the Herons fish right in front of the house! Such a fun time! Ror and Lori are great communicators and thoughtful hosts. It’s obvious that this home is their special place as well. My sister and I hope to come back again in the future! Thank you, Ror and Lori, for sharing your home!

Perfect Beach House

Our extended family loved this house and would move in tomorrow given half a chance :) !! The house is literally on the beach and so quiet we barely saw anyone the entire weekend. Everything you could possible need is provided - it really does feel like home. Dinner on the deck with sunset as a backdrop, and waking up to the view from the master bedroom were the highlights for me. Thanks for a memorable stay!

Third Time Continues to Be the Charm

Coming to the beach house for a week has become a family tradition. This year we used it to celebrate our 50 years of marriage. We hired a photographer to take family photos on the beach. It was a magical time for all of us.

This property was the perfect place to celebrate my 70th birthday with my husband and four of my closest friends for a full week. Now I know why all of the reviews are so positive. It’s the place that we would build if we could move to this area. It’s perfectly stocked in the kitchen and all areas —and my husband is a picky person when it comes to the kitchen. If you come here, stop by the house before buying groceries as it’s well stocked with condiments and more. The place is well-built and quiet. We saw maybe six people (or the same two) in seven days. Note that the third bathroom is downstairs, which still worked for three couples to each have their own bathroom. GREAT linens. My birthday wish was to see an eagle. We saw them everyday! It was almost as if they posed for us. Ror, the owner, was quick to respond when we had questions even from the very beginning of booking this reservation. Trust me, this is the place you want to be if you’d like to enjoy a waterfront property vacation. We can’t wait to return! Mr. & Mrs. John C.
