Awesome hotel

The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the tv had a lot of channels and we got to watch the brewer game so that was great. I would definitely stay there again.

Friendly person working at the front desk. Check in went smooth. The place is older and worn down a bit however good value for the price. Needed a place to sleep the night before a Packer game. This place filled that role satisfactorily. The town is nice and quaint. I would stay here again for a Packer game.

Have been staying at this little “gem” for many years now whenever I visit Clintonville. As an older motel it is very well maintained and has plenty of charm. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Reasonably priced as well. I highly recommend this motel!

Everything went well. The room was clean and comfortable. The coffee wasn't the best, but I'm thinking it brewed in the machine for some time without a lot of guests staying and using it. It was OK though because Kwik Trip was right next door. We will definitely stay there again next year, just like we did back in 2024. Thank you!

I travel every week for my job and even though this hotel is outdated, it was clean, and the bed was super comfortable. The manager went above and beyond and I will definitely be back.

The unique property reminded us of our grandmas place, all the old, antique furniture. The suite room was very spacious. The price was reasonable. It said we would get breakfast, but there was only a 6 pack of donuts. Ooooopppps - not what we expected. We would stay again for this price.

Booked this hotel for the NFL draft. It was a place to lay our head and for that, it worked. The pros: Cost effective, close enough to all the weekend activities. Bed was comfortable. The Cons: Well, first off, the undersheet for the bed was stained and didn't really fit the bed. I asked for an extra pillow (we had three for two people) and the owner was incredibly rude. He did eventually give us an extra pillow. The "breakfast" was toast, bananas, doughnuts coffee and Hawaiian punch. Hotel is dated, but I won't hold that against anyone. All in all, our stay was comfortable, worked for what we needed it for.

The staff were very nice. The room was cleanish, they could pay attention to the corners in the bathroom when cleaning. The pool and hot tub looked nice, but didn’t try them out as they were always full of kids. The price was very reasonable. The breakfast was good a lot of options.

A small family run business. Close to local bars and restaurants. The breakfast was coffee, concentrated juice, fruit, 2 types of cereal, mini muffins, toast with butter and some hard donuts. Did not have any sound from the TV in the room. Bed was good and room was clean. Looking for inexpensive place to stay this was fine. Close to some nice breakfast restaurants and some local shopping.

Pleasantly surprised at the quality. I drove an Amish friend to Shawano and I wanted to save him some money compensating me for the trip, so I selected this place in Clintonville that was much lower cost than anything in Shawano. I was expecting a dump. When I arrived several smokers were sitting on the front porch, so I was expecting clientele to be bad. When I arrive in my room I was pleased: clean, well kept, fresh appearance. I would recommend this place to a friend or family member.

Good thing gone bad

I’ve been staying at the Landmark Motel for years. It’s clean, simple and affordable. However, it’s been going downhill since the new owners took over. My husband and I stayed a couple nights ago and what a disappointment. Upon entering the room, we noticed that they had spackled up a bunch of spots on the walls that weren’t sanded or painted. Not a huge deal. We dropped our bags in the room and went to dinner. When we got back, I turned on the heat to warm the room and waited. Because we got back late, and we usually sleep in a cool room we just thought we’d deal and let management know the heat wasn’t working in the morning. Then I turned on the fan in the bathroom. It sounded like a jackhammer. Again, we would just let them know about that too. Then I noticed the mildew around the facet in the bathroom. But to top it all off, we found a tissue that had blood on it in the bed. Which led us to believe the sheets weren’t changed. When we checked out, I mentioned the heat and fan to the manager. He started by saying that he thought the heat was fixed and continued with excuses and told me that the owners don’t want to put any money into the place and if they did, they would have to raise the rates and then they won’t rent out as many rooms. My thought is that if things don’t get fixed or cleaned properly, no one will come back. Because he wasn’t hearing me or my concerns, I didn’t even mention the mildew or bloody tissue. We won't be coming back.
