“Wonderful experience staying at the property. One suggestion for the owners is to provide instructions on the use of appliances particularly those appliances that are unique to Europe e.g. the combination washer- dryer, hot water heater in the shower etc. we figured it out eventually but a how to booklet would have been helpful.”

“This house was a great base for our family trip to Donegal. The large travel cot & high chair came in very handy. It was cosy and comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc. and there was plenty of room for us all to eat and sit together. The location was excellent, just a short walk to Killahoey beach or into Dunfanaghy. We all agreed it was a winner. Only complaint was it seemed like a few small repairs are needed - one of the windows and one of the showers.”

“The cottage was perfect, in a gorgeous area of wild Donegal. Easy walk to a couple of small beaches. Nice shop and pub a few minutes car ride away. The house was cozy and clean, with everything we needed. Anne had let us know that there was a sudden problem with the central heat, and the work needed to be done to fix it would have had the plumber there during our stay, and she didn’t want us bothered. The house was warm enough, and we made a fire in the evenings in the wood stove. Anne actually……

“An absolutely beautiful property with a lovely walk to the village and so much to see and do. A bit of plane spotting kept the children amused with a great view of the local airport. ”

“Very pleasant stay at Jacks place. Very cosy and homely house. Great location to all amenities. Front bedroom slightly noisy due to road noise but didn't bother us. Diffently will rebook again .”

“Perfect location for several nights as homebase for sightseeing daytrips. Cozy and great amenities, although 6 adults might be tight; 4 was comfortable (we used third bedroom for our luggage). Beautiful, tranquil setting. Plenty of bath and kitchen towels; plenty of cookware and utensils; plenty of refrigerator space; easy check-in and operation instructions. Notes: 1) Listed as 2 bathrooms on Expedia, but to clarify, it is 1 toilet room w/sink, 1 shower room w/sink; 2) Some complimentary items……

“We had a very pleasant stay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The house is well equiped with everything you need although I missed a dryer (drying outside is possible but was not an option because of the rain chances). A clothing rack to dry wash inside would be useful. The only disadvantage of the house is that there is no wifi, but we could borrow the mobile internet device of the hosts during our stay.”
